WOOO HOO!!!! CONGRATS TO HAPPY HANNAH!!! Salt, you bring such wonderful spirit to this community, I just love reading every single one of your posts. And LOOK AT THAT FACE ON YOUR GIRL! What a happy girl. She is truly fighting this thing with all her might.

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. We are sooooo happy for you both. I am glad that in the beginning you hung in there. Now you can be an advocate and voice for those in doubt and who experience a bumpy recovery. Hannah is BEAUtiFul. What more could you ask for than more time with your girl. I wish you much more time together. Now breathe, shake it all off, let yalls hair loose and pawty!

OH MY GOSH!! Hannah is just beautiful! You can just melt in her eyes. I am so glad every thing is going good. Both of you deserve it.
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Yeah, we hung in there alright...and continue to do so because of the tremendous support from people like you:-) If I can maintain half the fortitude and commitment you' and others like you who have been on this site for a lot longer than I, then I will feel like I've made a difference in some small way!! You "stick - to witness" is commendable:-)
Are you kidding me?? Heck yeah--I would be thrilled and honored to have you do anything you want with my Happy Hannah's photo:-) I get sooooooo excited every time I see her mug on here....I feel like she's a famous movie star, rock star and fashion model all in one chunky body:-)

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

How awesome!!!! What a very special gift and talent. LOVELY!
ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

Soooooo, I've been wanting to add to this Thread" with how happy I am with my decision.....yet....keeping the part addressing how very scared I was at first....how very of Bible things she med at first. Reason being, because of the feedback of others, when they've been scared about a slow recovery, or the decision itself, they found this thread helpful..It's helpful because they saw my sheer suffocating fear and they saw the reassuring and knowledgeable responses from this community. They saw how you gave me strength and courage. They saw how you were there for me every second of the way
So if reading through this thread, the ups, the down and then the sheer bliss of celebrating every single breath my Happy Hannah takes, every single beat of her heart.....well, that's a good thing.
And to experience the humanity, the collective consciousness the selfless giving of so many when they are experiencing their own challenges or even tragic losses..
The random acts of kindness..the Maricela/Spirit Bruno---the Jessica/Athena offering to do sketches.....okay gotta stop naming names because it's about EACH of you. EACH OF YOU HAVE TOUCHED ME WITH YOUR LOVE, YOUR WONDERFUL WIT, YOUR CO PASSION:-)

In response to your lovely post above, I would like to thank you for your constant reassurance of me! You have been so gentle and kind when I have been feeling really unsure about this whole trip. It's been wonderful to jump on the forum and read all the great replies to my posts, yours are always so positive and bright, thank you again and again.
This is a great reservoir of wisdom and strenth. How lucky we are to be here!

Sally, we need to have a talk, girl. You have said several times you are not a youngster...neither am I. And neither am I doddering. But we both know that you do NOT use terms you do not understand or you may hear gasps in public places and parents will quickly put their hands over their kids' ears!
Indeed, it means "what the f***." I doubt you want to be saying that. Of course, it can very nicely express the confusion, frustration and anger when one's auto-correct types "how very of Bible things she med at first." And maybe I even said it reading that sentence because I really didn't know what you meant, but I was busting up just the same.
I don't think I said Hannah was a diva. I may have said someone's dog was, but I am too old (not doddering, remember) to remember what I said to who yesterday, let alone last week.
Ok Sally, time to retire this thread and start a new one. A happily named one. Didn't you say you have a nephew or some younger person hanging around? Ask them to help you start a blog. Once it's set up, writing in it is a piece of cake. If not, then keep on posting here and confounding the hell out of us with your delightful auto-corrects!

Sweet Victoria...thank you for letting me know in some way I was helpful.....it's only because we've all been there and we all understand all too well almost each od emotion everyone is feeling. I really do want to give back as others have given to me, so thank you again.
