Wahoo! Good to finally meet you, Happy Hannah! You are so darn cute and loving your bowl....and milking that pose for all it's worth to your mom. Keep it up, lady! You rock those test results!
I suppose if your vet says she's OK for chemo to continue with low platelet levels, then it's gotta be OK, right? Is she part of a larger practice - perhaps ask another vet for confirmation? I know they look at white blood cells and when that is too low, chemo is withheld.

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

I'd talk with my regular vet again and he said he wouldn't doubt that the plat left count was an error!! And that's our story and we are definitely sticking with that one:-) !,,, Said something like sometimes blood could clot or something before actual lab. test ad after looking at everything again, e really thinks that's the case. Don't me to watch for sudden. Cruising and a few other things just in case....of let her bump into things or fall, etc.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Oh, she really is SO CUTE... I can imagine it's very hard to look at that face & NOT fill that bowl right up!! 
Hannah is gorgeous. Do you think she looks a little bit like my Sandee--only much MUCH bigger?!

Karen and Spirit Magnum
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. Sassy and Michelle......The dancing the lbs, way is a great concept. Only thing is, I'm doing the dancing and she just its there grin in and wagging her tail like crazy:-) hummmmmm maybe she's loosing weight in her rump that wat!

Yeah for the pic and even bigger yeah for all the heart and determination you and your momma have that have! It Allowed you to flourish as a Tripawd. Sally, if we were all tough on you in the beginning it was out of love for you and Hannah. even though we didn't know you, we knew somehow that If you kept coming back for more you had it in you and were a fighter. And we were all right. You and Hannah ARE warriors. I was elated to finally see her cute mug. I hope you share many more pics with us and that we are able to celebrate many more milestones with you both. I think of you often and wish you all the best.

NINE WEEKS AFTER LEG AMPUTATION AND CERTAIN I MADE A GREAT DECISION for my Happy Hannah!!!:-)
All blood work checked out fine yesterday s proceeded with third chemo and all is well!!(knocking on wood of course)
No more blood work in between ow and she only has to do one more treatment!! Haven't spoken about any other treatment her but it seems four carboplatin is standard for effectiveness
Every single day is such a treasure, such a gift, such blissful joy and I am so grateful to everyone on this site for walking by our side, and continuing to do so!! I hope in some small way to be here for you as you have for us! We could t have gotten this far without you!
Okay, when I get some tonight Happy Hannah and I will be dancing to a little "GLORY DAYS' (in our heads of course) and I'm in visioning Happy Hannah up on stage with Bruce the Boss!! Hope she let's me go backstage with her!!:-)

Yea!!!! I am soooo happy to be able to celebrate this wonderful milestone with you and Hannah. You have really become an integral part of this community and tight knit family ever since her recovery.
