Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Ah! Look at her face! OMD! Love her! Oh, Happy Hannah, look how far you've come, girlie. It's so impressive and we're so proud of you....but no one is more proud than your momma! Keep up the great work with chemo! I presume, then, it's not giving you tummy troubles or slowing you down? You doing OK on it? Have an EXCELLENT weekend, pooch!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Thanks Katy and Jackson! Yeah, to same I'm bursting with pride for my Happy Hannah is an understatement:-) But everyone here knows the same feeling.
Knock on wood, she's handled this just fine----no tummy issues, no noticeable tiredness and apparently low interim platlett count was an error as the one they did before the treatment was fine:-)
Katy, when.you have a moment, do you mind sharing your deciding factor for going with five chemo and then metronomics
? So far her onco. has said a fifth would just be icing on the cake bit not necessary. At which point I said I'll just bake a cake then and load it up with double chocolate icing:-) Happy Hannah would much rather have that anyway:-) Also, the holistic treatment you're following. You may have all this on a post somewhere so just "tell me where to go"!!:-)

OKAY!!! YAY SALLY! I just figured out how to get into Facebook/tripawds!! On my own too!!
My "dogsitter/friend of y dogs" took video of her little girl and Happy Hannah. Whenever she comes over, Hanna greets her with food bowl in mouth so she'll give her treat.
I really won't post on this spot anymore today-----it's just so life affirming....so enternal......so ALIVE!! Just can't help myself when I see that mug!!!Love her!!!

Yep, set up all the FACEBOOK, SHARE, FRIENDS, TWEETY ACCOUMTS, ETC. It's been so hard to pretend like I'm "computer stupid", knowing all along I had to mask the genius underneath:-) The hardest part is pretending like I couldn't type:-) Time after time, hour after hour, I would type a flawless, perfect piece, only to erase it s the secret wouldn't be out:-)
