Tripawds founder and CFO (Chief Fun Officer) Jerry G. Dawg is the reason this community exists. When he first got cancer and had his front leg amputated to enhance his quality of life, we immediately started making plans to enjoy every remaining second we had together to the fullest. In a matter of months, we had sold our home, our business and nearly everything we owned to purchase a new truck and trailer.
Doctors had given Jerry a few months to live, so we decided to spend it traveling the country together as a pack. He lived two years, and we enjoyed every moment of our bittersweet cancer journey, until we released him from his broken body. This Tripawds News Blog includes numerous photos, many inspirational videos and plenty of fun tales about our adventures with Jerry.
This clip from Nature, Why We Love Cats and Dogs briefly summarizes how much Jerry meant to us and the lengths we’ve traveled to share his story.
