Interested in spreading the word about the amazing capabilities of canine amputees? Then check out what Miss Pegz did last month at the Dog Days of Kenmore in upstate New York.
Like Cadence and Spirit Hope’s pack, Miss Pegz wants to educate folks about the Tripawds experience. Her pack Mom Karen sent us the following post to share the events of a fun and educational afternoon they spent while getting the word out about the Tripawds community. Thanks Karen and Miss Pegz, for all you do!
“WoooHooo!! Calling all Tripawds!! On Sunday, June 24th Pegz and Belle rocked it out at the Dog Days Festival in Western NY, hosting an educational booth all about our amazing community at Tripawds.com.
The Tripawd Warrior Princesses (TWPs) were joined by their moms Karen, Darci and Laurie as well the moms’ Rescue Sisters Suzanne and Beth. And of course ALL of the ladies, two and three-legs alike, were sporting Tripawd fashions.
The festival itself was a smashing success with over 30 dog-related displays from local rescues and treat bakers…to training companies and pet-sitting services, etc. There were agility demonstrations, Police K9 Units, live music and food trucks. Hundreds of people came along with their dogs for a howling good time!
Meanwhile, at the Tripawds booth… we had many, many visitors come to look at our display where they could see pawsome pictures of 18 different members of our community enjoying life on three.
Several folks picked up our fliers because they either had a dog facing this challenge, or knew someone who did.
We even had three new Tripawd Friends come and join us!!! Just perfect cause Pegz’ mom had three extra Tripawds bandannas. So all three new Tripawds got to join the fashion show.
And of course, one of the day’s highlights was a guest appearance by none other than Spirit Samson’s MB Miss Perdy and their mom Julie!!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day. We would have to say…it was a totally “hoppening” good time!”
Many thanks to Karen, Miss Pegz, Julie, Miss Purdy and everyone else who generously gave their time and helped make this a great day for Tripawds everywhere! To learn how to raise Tripawd awareness where you live, see:
