Jerry, Sally, Laurie, Karen and Daniela…. taa daaaaa

Lookie what I did!

Bailey’s progress from lying down to not moving for over two weeks crying… referred to acupuncture vet and she helped us tremendously, what a sweetheart!  Here’s the video from yesterday that I tried posting many times… it’s on YouTube so I hope it’s safe. kiss

Keep your paws crossed that she continues to gain strength.  Her appetite has increased and I am having her do things on her own or at least try... even without the harness... sigh!!!!!

My husband was a little rough with Bailey but I think he was so excited she wagged her tail (which I did not capture on this video) sleepy that he was roughing her up!

Love and Tight Hugs, I can't thank all of my friends on here enough, thanks for standing by me continuously; it helps more than you can imagine.

Thank you Sally!  It's like night and day here in the STL!

Just praying that Bailey continues to get stronger and stronger.  She's such a fighter and I'm supporting her every which way I can.  Even 3:00 am pee breaks are ok with me!

This Sunday was such a turn around that we can only feel blessed.  I'm sure her little leg has a lot of healing to do.

We kept the FAITH and my FAMILY here helped me every step of the way especially since Labor Day when she couldn't walk and just cried.  Thank the Lord that it was a holiday weekend and no one was available to come to my home.  God works in mysterious ways.  I have the faith and the support right here!

Thanks again!

I'm sorry if I am boring at times or most of the time... but this is my break time... venting time.

Bailey goes tomorrow to Dr. Snodgrass the acupuncture vet... wait until she sees her tomorrow!  Woohooo

The pictures below are from Sunday before her Daddy came home from shopping!  aw-shucks She has a much better look in her eyes from a few weeks ago, nothing but pain when she was just lying on her bed not being able to get up!

This was a few weeks ago (August 14, 2014) Bailey could not get up on her own or walk without us holding her up.

We are praying for a miracle that she's healing and continues to get stronger.

I'm thinking the Angel coin has delivered to us a huge BLESSING!

Gosh, to see these pictures side by side...the before...the now....UNBELIEVABLE!!!! In particular, I remember the one on here right before the pic of Bailey and your daughter....her face just looked sooooo sad....she just looked miserable.

AND LOOK AT HER NOW!!!!!! This just blows me away! And, on top of that, you are posting the photos yourself....we're talking miracles going on over at Bailey's home!!!

I keep scrolling back up to look at her pictures. I am absolutely flabbergasted!!!

Please post Dr. Snodgrass's reaction when you get a chance. Clearly something's working...mind...body...spirit....and an UNBE amount of faith from Bailey's family.

NOW y o u can stay in the present with Bailey....enjoy and savor every single second! The NOW is blissful...celebrate it!

I just thought I would share what my daughter has tweeted along with the picture of Bailey.

"Bailey girl greeted me when I came home today with a wagging tail! She hasn't had use of her tail in over a month, and has had very limited use of her back legs. In addition, her appetite was severely depressed and she refused to eat on her own. Every specialty vet we've been to has been perplexed by her condition. Due to her age, sensitivity to medications (including anesthesia) and previous medical history, we elected to treat her based on her outward physical signs rather than put her through a MRI or myelogram. When traditional pain medications failed to work, we decided to give #acupuncture a go. It seemed to help some, but not enough. After countless hours of #research and discussions with several vets, we decided last Tuesday to start her on prednisone. Our goal is to make her as comfortable as possible. Our vet advised us that if she had not improved dramatically within a week, she would not likely improve at all...at which point we would need to make a decision regarding her wellbeing. This weekend, as though by some sort of #miracle , she began getting up on her own. Her appetite has increased. And today she wagged her tail. She chased me around the yard (although still wobbly and uncoordinated). It's a start. Hopefully just the beginning of her road to #recovery! #greatdane #danesofinstagram #tripawds #tripaw #threeisbetterthanfour #cancersurvivor #roadtorecovery #onestepatatime #vetmed"

I'm a little emotional tonight to say the least!

Thanks Sally for always being here for me!  You're such a kind and beautiful woman, anyone who meets you(internet!) you leave a warm caring touch.  You always held me up when I was falling down and to have faith and never never give up.  I have the FAITH that Bailey is a fighter and can keep climbing this hill.  Love you Sally and Happy Hannah my Sweet Angel Above US and Merry Myrtle

Let's keep this ball rolling and I can't wait until Doctor Snodgrass sees her tomorrow and how far she has come!  This visit was the visit we were going to talk about the alternative and Baileys well being.  Well not this time, Bailey's not going to give up she's a fighter and she has a birthday in October where she will be 8 years old.  We are going to be celebrating!  Cheer us on to victory!!!

Love and Tight Hugs

Tracy and Bailey
