Oh sweet Tracy, our dear dear Tracy and Bailey.....

Yes, we are holding you tightly and not letting go....promise!!!!

You've said a couple of things in many different ways that make me think she IS talking to you. She IS letting you know...as you said..."This is not a life".
Do you feel that way Tracy? Do you feel like she is talking to you though her actions?

And please...in no way...NO WAY....am I suggesting or I implying it's time to give her the ultimate gift of release, okay? I AM, however, just reminding y o u...in a state of calm and love....to revisit any messages BAILEY may be trying to convey. This is all about what Bailey wants and needs right now.

Tracy, you have tried EVERYTHING POSSIBLE...and all with a positive attitude. You've been the one who knows Bailey best. This journey always has a "transition to Spirit" once we have done everything possible!!!! It's a transition that animals do not fear...it's a transition they welcome when it's their time. It's a transition that mere l y takes them through anothernooen door...a door where they are free from pain and vibrant and healthy...and hungry again!!!

I'm going to suggest one thing...and Rene will have to give you the info....I w o uld suggest getting in touch with an animal communicator....actually, you can search that on the site right now. I strongly suggest y o u contact one immediately. It may sound far fetched....and it may be exact l y the vehicle Bailey needs so she can communicate her wishes to you.

I have to go to work now...will be home later tonight.....will check here as so o n as I get in....

One more th o ught...and ALL of this whole post is just stuff I'm throwing out there, okay?? Anyway, you mentioned a lot of wuestions....write them down here...maybe we can help. I think one question to ask yourself is........

"What has to happen in my head and my n heart for me to know I have done EVERYTHING possible and for me to accept that there is nothing else medically that can be done?"

HOLDING YOU TIGHTLY......SQUASHING YO U ALMOST BECAUSE WE ARE ALL HOLDING YOU TIGHTLY!!!!

Tracy & Bailey,

I totally agree with Sally!  However I don't think you need a communicator.  There is no one on this earth that can tell YOU when it is time to let her go, except for You and Bailey. You need to feel that the time is right.  There is no easy way to make the decision.  Not to sound like a broken record (I have said this before). Personally for me the issue has been making the decision, not the outcome.  Crossing over is very sad for us Pawrents, but the natural succession for our furbabies. {{{{{{{{{{ Big Hugs }}}}}}}}}.  We are here for you!

Tracy, I know this is so hard and I'm so very, very sorry. There is no way any of us can tell you when it's the right time. Only you can answer that after having a heart-to-heart with Bailey. Do check out our Quality of Life discussion here, I think you'll find it useful.

THE CUTEST PICTURES IN THE WORLD!!!!!! Bailey and Bella are absolutely exquisite dogs!!!

They clearly enjoy each other's company and are very comfy being next to each other. I LOVE THESE PICTURES!!! Please post more!! PLEASE!!! We love seeing pictures of Bailey...and Bella too!!

Words of wisdom from Laurie, Lori, Rene...they, myself, and the entire tripawd community stands with you! We're kind of like a bad case of garlic breath.....you just can't get rid of us no matter what!!!
You are family. We've been where you are. The specifics may be different, but the agony is the same when trying to make a decision.

Just keep communicating with Bailey from a calm centered and grounded state. Not from a state of fear...just from a place of openness...a place of oneness with Bailey.....a place that allows you to listen without any pre-conceived ideas of the future holds or what it will look like...just listen from a place where Bailey feels she can safely communicate with you.....a place where Bailey feels safe expressing her wishes with a knowing that...regardless of her wishes, you will be okay.

BAILEY IS WITH YOU RIGHT NOW .....WITH YOU AND WITH BELLA!!! Enjoy your time together!!! Now, go fix her a peanut butter tortilla and make her happy!!! AND MORE PICTURES!!!!

We're all sending you love, strength, clarity, hugs! As Lori said, "We've got your back"!!!

Dear Tracy,

you have excelled in your dedication and care, by Bailey's side and always looking at her best interest.  All you have done, you have done for her.  Our thoughts and hearts are with you and your family.

St. Francis of Assisi prayer for Bailey.

Heavenly Father,
You created all things for your glory
And made us stewards of this creature.
If it is your will, restore Bailey to health and strength.
Blessed are you, Lord God,
And holy is your name for ever and ever.  Amen.

Daniela & Johnnie

Our awesome Golden Boy was diagnosed for OSA in April 2014 in the proximal humerus, front-leg amp on 05/20/2014. Finished chemo (Carbo6) on 07/10/2014. My friends, my friends, my friends... you always manage to bring a smile through teats and I will have to say when I said the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi I cried. God Bless You and everyone that has been my back bone.

Today I noticed that when I try to even lightly touch her back left leg she lifts her head... like don't touch and panics.  Sooo I get on the computer and I do a little research and this is what I came up with when I googled..."dog with pain to the touch in rear leg and unresponsive tail..."  Thoughts? Sounds soooo much like Bailey.

http://www.pete.....38;aid=456

I am calling Dr. Snodgrass in the morning and see what her thoughts are... Sally hmmm what about a steroid??? I asked many of times... it doesn't sound like this is curable but maybe we can rid the paid?  It's been long, long nights.  It's so hard to guess what they need.

It was a beautiful day in St. Louis. We managed to get Bailey on the deck and comfy! Notice Bella in the background helping herself to Baileys special water!

Now back to making that peanut butter roll.

LOVE AND TIGHT HUGS

Thanks again for taking time to checkn i ! We all care so deeply about you and Bailey and appreciate each post.

But doggone it! The picture didn't show up! Will you try again? We to see Bailey...and Bella too!!

Dainiela and Johnnie...very nice of you to post the St. Francis of Assi Prayer....we'll all say it for Baley!

Yes Tracy, dedinitely talk to Dr. Snodgrass about the info. you found! The sysmptons certainly sound similar! I'll have to go back to some of your previous posts...it seems like this was mentioned earlier as a possibility to check into.

And definitely ask her about Prednisone! Sure, it has "issues" of its own...but it can also be a pretty amazing drug in tough situations!

If Bailey is on Rimadyl, there has to be a wash out period...I'm no vet of course...so check with vet. Even ask Bailey's regular vet if Dr. Snodgrass wants to still continue a more natural approach. But, I think based on your previous post, you didn't feel like the acupuncture was helping very much.

And the Pred. can DEFINITELY increase appetite!!! Again...make sure the vet is aware of all drugs Bailey is on!

Hope y o u can get the pic posted...we love pictures of your beautiful girls! Make sure you get some selfies with you and the firls...such a nice treasure tonhave! So glad they had a comfy day in the sun!!

We're all still right here hugging you!!! Holding on tightly and not letting go!!

Sending you love and hugs!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

Let us know what Dr. S. says when you can.

I would agree that those symptoms sound close to what she is experiencing. What did Dr. Snodgrass think?

let me know which pic you're trying to share and I'm happy to post it OK?

Glad she got out to enjoy some good weather! Sunshine really lifts the spirit doesn't it?

Bailey's update 9/11/14 ~ it's not looking good.  Her hip bone is sticking out and the vet said no muscle in the left leg.  She seems to think definitely something is going on with the spine.  But Bailey cannot have the surgery.  She started dragging her left paw behind (it looks so painful she looks back like what is going on) and crisscrossing them and almost falls but we have the harness on her.  We did do acupuncture #4 today and next Tuesday 35 acupuncture and she will start a steroid also, we need to go through the washing out period and Monday the vet is not in.  So we have been using codeine every 8 hours.  This is really breaking my heart as I'm sure everyone else who has been through this journey.  It's just not fair.

Jerry I believe the picture was the one of her and Bella laying on the deck where she is looking up, if you could please add it in, that would be great. (Nice day on the deck post above.)

Here are some throw back Thursday pictures. (Jerry can you grab the three from my fb page and insert here!)  I'll send you some chocolate!

I'm turning in... I'm starting to feel defeated... and it eats you alive when you can't fix it.

Loved and tight hugs.

Tracy and Bailey

Awww, Sweet Bailey..hoping your acupuncture will help some tonight.

How much longer do you have to wait until you can start the steroids? Today would be the second day off the carpofen.

Yep, this journey is not fair, that's for darn sure. But I know Bailey has enjoyed being loved and spoiled like crazy!

Will keep coming back to tthe photos! I know they'll be great!!

Darn, if I only knew how to do FB pocture transfers, I could get some chocolate too!

We're still hugging you tightly!! We're still right by your side!!!! (((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))

Love!
