Well, ideally, an ip address and exact time of the error will help us search the server logs for any sort of reason behind this issue. (By now it is too late for this occurrence.) Otherwise, we can only blame it on the monkeydogs.

Just to add to the aggravation…I had the same problems as Cometdog yesterday on several posts & again today. At 7:01CST replying to Mackenzies post, same message as in past…Unable to save post. No topic entered.
About 15 minutes earlier, also happened on Maddie, post-op Day 3. No message that time, just no post!
I'm not really looking for a solution, just thought I'd let you know.
Yesterday, the paste text/paste word wasn't working after I ended up copying a note to my email & ultimately to a word document after trying to post it three times. Trouble's euthanasia post…as you can see by the text.
Yesterday I was not always on the ip address i provided last, but it's too late for that anyway.

Hmmm... this issue is clearly network related since the same two users report experiencing it consistently. We're doing our best to identify any other cause.
Thanks for the update, and again, we apologize for the inconvenience. We would be really interested in knowing if the problem persists when using Firefox.
Regarding the Paste As Text function, it works differently now. Clicking the button toggles it on, you no longer paste into a pop-up box. You turn on "paste as text", paste your content, then turn it on again next time you want to do the same. So, without details, we're not sure what you mean by "not working".

The paste as text just didn't respond when clicked. The paste from word seemed to respond when I clicked it , but I think I just ended up pasting directly from the word document.
That would explain the formatting. The button not responding is a separate issue which *may* be resolved with IE's compatibility view.

Tried that..no response no matter what. Thought I was so smart copying it to a word document & pasting from there, then I saw the formatting....I gave up...it' s just taking too long to post anything right now
Cynthia, I copied my text also and I couldn't paste it by by right clicking (was getting a greyed out 'paste'). I had an 'ah-ha' moment since I knew I had it copied - so I did CTRL V   and it pasted.
So copy the text before saving and if it doesn't work - use CTRL V to paste.
