I do think Jared did a pretty amazing job...
Yes! As did you...simply amazing.
I couldn't make it through the first paragraph before the tears started welling up.
You painted an incredible picture of exactly why we do what we do. Thank you!

OMG ... that photo ... of my girls!!! Angel Shelby and Jasper Lily by my side... I am crying here (again). In the perfect world... I would always have had them both together and here ... that photo ... it's everything. Thank you !!! Thank you so much for that!!!
There was never a doubt in my mind that your article would be brilliant and perfect and reflect the world that is Tripawds ... Your heart it amazing and the way you speak made me just know the article would be great! You truly captured the essence of this community on so many levels with grace, style, humor (lol @ zig-zagging down the highway - you left out the part about the trucks) and LOVE.
I do love the comments but I think you also did touch others who are strangers to us to allow them (eggcentric excluded) to think outside the box and see life on three in a different way!
I just keep going back to it and reliving the best weekend of my life and filling my heart with utter love for all of you ... my life is a better place because of Tripawds. I said on my FB page that out of sorrow can come great joy... I never wanted Shelby to lose a leg or fight cancer but had our life not gone that way, I wouldn't have met my new family. Hugs and love to you all!!!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Brava! Brava!
Clare, beautiful job done on a near impossible task. Not only did I cry (and grin) while reading it, I sent the link to a couple of non-Tripawds friends and they cried their eyes out too. I think that speaks volumes about how well you communicated what this tribe is about. I'd love to see the uncut version of the article too (hint, hint) if you were comfortable sharing it with the likes of us.
AND Jared's photos are incredible. I so, so love the one of Sally, Myrtle and Frankie. Amazing of him to fly all that way just to get slobbered on, not to mention his equipment.
(Echoing Allison) it's the reminder of that fabulous weekend and the love of this family/tribe/crazy house that makes me so grateful for everyone here, all over again. I can't (and won't try) to explain what it means to me.
xoxoxo
Right rear leg amp 7/12/16 due to OSA. Metastatic lesion on her right front leg, January 2017. Joined the Winter Warriors January 19, 2017. Run free my sweet girl.

I loved life as a tripawd for over three years following right forelimb amputation due to an aggressive and recurrent hemangiopericytoma. I reclaimed my place among the gods and valkyries in Valhalla on November 11th, 2020. My parents miss me tremendously, but I know they'll keep me in their hearts forever... and don't worry, I've approved my mom's use of my Tripawds account.
Apparently the movie Logan Lucky includes a scene featuring a Tripawd.
No comments necessary, just feel free to add link for any other movies or TV shows not previously mentioned in this topic that you've seen featuring Tripawds.
