My dog---Nicoletta had a lot leg amputation one week ago.   She is on Tramadol and Gabopentin--- both twice a day.  Since of course-- she can't talk--I keep thinking she needs something stronger.  Can I have some advise on pain medications?

thank you

Welcome! The best medication mix is the one prescribed by a vet who practices in accordance with the current pain management standards. And what works for one dog, may not be approproriate for another. So it is best to consult with your vet, or seek another professional opinion.

FYI: Many vets agree that Tramadol does not perform as well as they once thought. Most also agree that Gabapentin works wonders, when dosed correctly.
