Oh no, it is breaking my heart to hear this. I am so very sorry. Razbeg was so sweet, and loved life. I cannot even imagine the shock of having the table turn 180 degrees in a matter of minutes. You did everything for your sweet boy, and even as hard as this is you are right. He was taken swiftly and for him that was the best thing. For us... it makes it harder but like Jerry said, even in your worst moment of grief you have the foresight so see that.
Razbeg's story will live on here and will help many people. He and Griffin are probably having that race now up over the clouds to see who can run faster
Sending you love and light. My thoughts are with you across the miles. May you find peace in your heart and comfort with Myrsky. You will both need each other right now.
Sending hugs and love,
Jackie and Huckleberry
Hugs,
Jackie, Bo, Andy, Oscar, Phoebe, and the coolest feral tripawd kitty Huckleberry
Thank you all for your warm, lovely words and support. This may be a club nopawdy wants to join, but this is also a loving and caring family, so despite of unfortunate circumstances it has been an honour to be part of it.
Stacy, I am deeply sorry for your recent loss too. I loved reading about Griffin’s journey. He was such a happy and energetic boy and didn’t let anything slow him down. Loved watching him swimming, playing fetch, and smiling, as he did in nearly every photo taken of him. He was clearly immensely loved. Sending lots of strength and love
Jerry, I’ve been meaning to write this to Wyatt Ray ’s own thread, but I am so sorry for your loss too. He lived amazing life on the road and his memorial marker in the desert is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, a real tribute to his memory and lifestyle
I really want to thank you all for your words from the bottom of my heart. They are truly comforting. Lots of love to all of you and your lovely tripawds
Yesterday me and Myrsky went for a long walk in honour of Razbeg. We went to places Razbeg loved, some of which were too far for him to visit after becoming a tripawd. I almost felt as if he were still by my side. It is still hard to believe he is gone. Sometimes I expect to see him on his bed. I haven’t been able to empty his water bowl. Only yesterday I had something in my eye and when I managed to remove it, it turned out to be his hair. I keep thinking that he was here only couple of days ago, how can he be gone? But having Myrsky helps, of course. I must keep our normal routine because of him. He doesn’t seem to be confused by the absence of Razbeg. I guess he sensed Razbeg was really unwell when we left to the emercency room.
Another recent photo of Razbeg, he could make funny faces too
Razbeg the rescue borzoi (born in 11.06.2009) became a tripawd in 20.09.2018.
He and his adopted "brother" Myrsky have their own facebook page:Razbeg & Myrsky
Sweet Razbeg, what a beautiful pup. He was an angel on earth and now he's an angel in the heavens. I'm just so sorry that it happened far too soon. It just feels so unfair and I can't imagine trying to wrap your head around what happened.
Don't be in a rush to do anything as far as dealing with his things. You will know when the time is right to proceed in that department. Until then, yes, Myrsky's routine is so important to follow, and it's healing for you as well. You're doing a great job by sticking to the things you did together.
And you know what? That hair in your eye was Razbeg telling you "Mom! I'm always here!" I'd take that as a very good sign that he is closeby.
Thank you for the kind words about Wyatt. We miss that boy terribly and definitely feel the love from you
Keep us posted on how you are doing and please, share more photos and videos of Razbeg and Myrsky when you feel up to it. Just because his physical body transitioned, Razbeg's spirit is still strong here and always will be. We are honored to be part of his shining light on the world.
