This is the hardest thing to even comprehend let alone believe it's real... it doesn't want to sink in... Bailey's road was a bumpy one and it's really hard to accept that she is gone.  All I do is see her face and cry.  I know I'm not the only one who has reached the end of this horrible journey but I really thought she had jumped another hurtle thrown at her these past two weeks.  Bailey wagged her tail, walked without help and willingly ate meals off of a fork...  she did this for us, I know she did.

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone on here, this site is full of love and compassion. It's like no other!  Thank you JERRY!!! <3

Thank you all for the condolences, posts, private messages, cards, flower seeds, telephone calls, flowers and today I received from Texas a giant box from AMAZON... it contained... are you ready for this a 3 pack of giant Kleenex and a bag of Oreo cookies!  Yes, I cried and then laughed through the tears!  I'm going in to lay by my Bella and eat the Oreos (I might share one with her) and cheer on the Cardinals!

But before I sign off right now I have this to say...this site is what kept me going, through all the posts and answers that you gave me to the late night support on how to deal with a high fever etc.

I have met and followed along and cried with many of you whose journey ended as well as the ones still fighting the horrible "C".

I'm here for support or to talk anytime... I'm not going anywhere, and I hope everyone sticks with me. I still need you.

"I WILL REMEMBER YOU" is playing in my head so here it goes...

So it's not goodbye it's talk to you later while BAILEY steals a shoe from TY, while JERRY protects her from KENDER the Cat (she was afraid of cats and hid behind a tree yes she use to do that); playing tag with NOVA, SASSY, POLLY, JOHNNIE, LEXIE, LELAND, PEACE, SAM, MILLIE, JAKE AND WONDERDOG TANNER... and as she tries to hide from HAPPY HANNAH, HAPPY HANNAH keeps running under her and biting at her ankles just to antagonize her... I'm sure many more ANGELS are with her and many of her friends that I didn't name but I know are pain free and running free with her.  I'm so glad MY ANGEL BAILEY IS not in pain, not alone and with a wonderful PACK in HEAVEN!

LOVE AND TIGHT HUGS FOREVER AND ALWAYS, (Please stay by our side, we still need everyone!)crying

Ohh I wanted to say to Sally that we did bury Bailey on her bed in a special made box with her name on it and she has several of her favorite toys with her and her food bowl and K-9 Immunity Plus (can't go anywhere without those!)

I put some of the flowers from VSS in a glass vase buried next to her to pee on!

But wait! Jerry was afraid of cats TOO! Oh no!

;) Hope that made you smile. He really was afraid of cats though.

Tracy...unreal...y o u can still make us laugh through the tears. That Bailey certainly immersed you with some of her great wit. Bailey loved tp "play" with you...loved to kind of pull pranks on you!

Love this......

And to know you buried those flowers next to her so she could pee in 'em!!! YAAAAAAAAAY! And she'll probably take a good relxaing poop on them too!!!!clapThe visual O Bailey at the bridge having a ball...PERFECT! And she's not letting any cats intimidte her...guaranteed!

I'm so glad you are feeling the love and support from the community in so many different ways. You and Bailey deserve it! It can be very hard after a loss to stay here sometimes, so you take time for yourself, okay? We know you are cheering everyone on and have, and continue to, support us all. Time to take care of you now, and Bella.

It's been said so manyndifferent ways, but when you love so hard, you grieve jist as hard. Good times...bad times...none of them last forever. These bad times won't either...certainly not to this degree.

Hugs to you our friend!

Oh I love it :) Kender got along well with our Barley dog (better than with our other cat I think), but he still knew Kender was the boss :) Don't worry, Angel Bailey and Jerry...Kender's hiss is bigger than her bite! <3

I love that you put the flowers nearby for Bailey to pee on! Kender loved to hide in our big bushes when it got too hot in the sun, so we plan I planting one over her next spring...she can hide from the birds in there, too ;)

You all made me smile... and I was just sent a message from Bailey that Shelby is playing along side of her also... she was always here for Bailey.

I was up all night and having a tough time but I just ate a whole roll of oreos and I'm sick to my stomach lol.

Bella had a oreos with me and she jumped liked Eyore and went to Mackenzie like she was going to give her one.

Hard to breath but I'm going to take Bella down to the playground because she's been having trouble getting up.  I'm sure the extra 10 pounds she put on with the extras didn't help my lovable lumpy spotted dog.

Hugs for now,

Tracy and Bailey Girl

Love you guys

Thanks for checking in. Sorry you have a tummy ache from too many Oreos...but a very small price to pay for such deliciousness!! I neverliked the actual cookie part...I just liked to lick the sugary "icing"...and tossed the cookie lart to the dogs!

I'm glad you and Bella are getting out to the park today...good for both of you. Take time to breathe in the fresh air and feel the sun on yourr face. You'll feel Bailey with you in nature.

How bout a picture of Bella at the park! Are you up to it? We'd love to see her! Okay, you may not be up do it.....but will you do it anyway?clap

Hugs to you sweet Tracy and Bailey...and Bella too!

Sally, I didn't make it to the park.  But my daughter is filming Bella chasing a broom as my husband tries to sweep leaves off the deck... she has such a personality and she sits on me every chance she gets.

A real funny story when Bailey was younger for some reason if you were laying down she would try to back her butt up and sit on your head... well the one time she did that to Mackenzie sleeping on her belly and she pee peed on her head and pillow... needless to say that woke Mackenzie up...  awww the memories.  I'm trying.

I did try to sleep a little last night and found myself going to that harness box and getting her red harness out and put it by my pillow exactly where I kept it for middle of the night potty breaks.  My husband woke me up this morning when he was leaving and he said when he got up I had my hand grasping the handle.  I must have been dreaming.

Sigh.

Trying hard.

Love and tight hugs.

BAILEY GETS HER 8 MONTH AMPUVERSARY CELEBRATIO!!!!!!! You darn right!!!! That girl EARNED herself a celebration pawty bigtime!!!clapclapclap

It was actually uesterday? Well now, that explains all the THUNDER we had here I. VIRGINIA yesterday! Out of nowhere we start getting thunder! It was an EIGHT MONTH AMPUVERSARY PAWTY FOR BAILEY!!!!!!! It apparently was a wild and crazy time as the noise from the pawty could be heard all the way over here!!!way-cool I'm not sure if the dogs and cats partake of alcohol on such occasions (I'm pretty sure SHELBY LYNNE downs a few glasses of wine...hereditary), but I'm sure the cl o uds were smeared with
Peanut butter and bowls of ice cream had K9 Imminity Sprinkles all over them!clown

O.D!!! The visual of Bailey trying to sit on your head AND actually sitting on M;cKenziie'head and peeing...LMAO!!!!!big-grinlaughing Too funny!!

You are trying Tracy...and Bailey knows you are trying.....and to have a funny memory pop through every now and then shows just how hard you are trying. And you kep on sleeping with that harness. It's veey symbolic of a connectionnthat can never be broken!!!

Angels, if you see a huge beautiful Great Dane trying to sit on your wings......RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait!!! Did you say your husband was sweeping?? He's a keeper!

Okay, let's all have some peanut butter and crackers tonight as we toast Bailey's EIGHT MONTH AMPUVERSARY!!!! You did a splendid job sweet girl, just splendid!

TIGHT HUGS AND LOVE!!!

Sally and Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

You guys are wonderful.  They are calling for bad storms tonight.

Bella threw up a big hair ball (softball size of grass) now she must have been harvesting it because she has not been out long enough in the front to eat grass... she was a grazing cow when she would sit out there with Bailey.  I think Fish Oil upsets her Belly.  But she seems to act like her joints are hurting when she's getting up lately but never wines.  Neil just said she roared and then a giant ball of grass came out and that was it...   oh myy.

Bailey would have been 8 on the 22nd of this month... dang nabit that was on my bucket list when we were dealing with that left leg at first.

Ohhh and I ate another roll of Oreos... Sally I like to open the double stuff two at a time put them together and toss the one set of chocolate wafers lol.  I'm so bad... sweets before steak for me.

HUGS to my buddies.  I miss you all and wish we were still talking about my girl and her journey. (I'm sure everyone does.)

HUGS,

Tracy and Bailey

Sweets before steak for me too Tracy, not bad at all!
Awww Bailey. Lots of dogs are sensitive to fish oil, go easy on it and it will work its magic.
