Rosa Rae is a beautiful girl. Once they win your heart, that is where they live forever.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

An appropriate picture to celebrate Jerry's life today, 51 months since he headed to the bridge...
Why? Because we are back in Luckenbach right now, whe the picture was taken in August, 2008.Tripawds Founders Jim and Rene

Jerry truly was a beautiful dog and what a noble purpose he had, even if he wasn't aware of it. However, I know he was aware of being cherished. I remember watching the PBS special, long before osteosarcoma came into our lives, and being touched by his strength and your devotion. What a great combination. Thank you for all you do. I hope Jerry is having fun at the bridge with all the Tripawd warriors who came after him and benefitted from the accumulated knowledge on this site.
Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
I LOVE the pic of Jerry in Luckenbach! Although we currently reside in NW Arkansas, TEXAS is home. He's definitely is "somebody" not only there but everywhere , especially within the Tripawds community. I cannot tell you enough how blessed I feel to have come across you and the Tripawds site. The community and wealth of info gave me more than just a resource, you all have been my "go to" for all the emotions that I encountered during this all consuming journey. I don't know how We would have ever been able to navigate this disease without everyone. The sincere care and empathy each member extends to one another is something far too rare, beautiful, and desperately needed during this journey. Thank you. I'd do it all over again!
Bruno was a stoic, yet fierce warrior. He had cancer for about 2 yrs total (months & months being improperly diagnosed) and thrived as a tripawds for over 1 yr 3 months. we were blessed to have him with us longer.
****Bruno ran, effortlessly, over Rainbow Bridge on December 31, 2012.****

Yesterday marked one month for Dakota. I wasn't able to write that until today.
Turns out I have had the privilege of sharing my life with two "heart dogs." Until he left, I didn't realize Dakota was one.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
Max, old buddy, I just want to let you and your people know that me and my pack are thinking of you today on your three year heavenaversary. I can't believe it's been three years since you got your wings. Seems like just yesterday we were pawtying on the beach.
We sure miss you around here. But man do we feel so lucky that your people John and Diane, and of course Bernie and Linda, are here still, helping others soooo much almost every single day. Wow! They are a really special pack, you did good Max.
I want to share this video with everpawdy so they can see what a totally rad beach dawg you were in your day!
On the day this video was made, my people were so sad. It was before I came along. They were hurting so bad because Jerry had just left. And then they met you, and those eyes of yours, and were in love. We all miss you buddy. Thanks for watching over us.

Five years and nine months since we were last here with Jerry, we are now at the same spot he played in this video...
... four years and six months to the date that we set him free from his broken body. Not that anyone is counting, or anything.

Such a pretty boy. You guys gave him an awesome life!
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

We miss you all! Quite a legacy...
ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Awesome video. Jerry was just plain awesome.
