Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

I knew you'd be "posting" today, so I was kinda' browser around seeng what people were writing. We all welcomed Teo here the other day. That dog loves to play in the snow...24/7 non-stop! Anyway I saw something Jerry posted to his pawpsrents and I want to quote it for you.
So I want to "coy and paste" what Jerry said because it was so beautiful.......except, I dn't kow how so I'll just add a little bit to it and copy the rest verbatim.........."Mama, I had the most wonderful time with you and I felt your love of every seco d of every day. I will repay you a tousand times throughout eternity by shining a light on your soul."
I REALLY like what Jerry said, because it is so true!! Pay attentin! I'm here with you! When you get the "warm fuzzies", that's me snuggling up in your heart.
Okay, gotta go take some ski lessons! I've already learned how to pop bubbles from Brendol, dress up in cool winter jackets frm Sassy, sunbathe from Roxy, Roo rooooo from Roxie, herd cattle from Shoote ,learning how to hunt bunnies from Sam......heck, there's a lot more going but I gotta run......later!

Oh Carol I'm so sorry. It's so hard to believe that six months can pass without the love of our best friend. Time moves on but love never fades, ever.

I'm sorry I never wrote to you when you lost Willow. It must have been just a few days after I lost Penny so probably I was a mess and just crying. But I send you hugs now and you are in my thoughts. Wonderful picture of a sweet, cute and lovely Willow! I understand there are no words that can tell how much you miss her! It really helps to think their souls will live forever! Take care!

Rosa my heart. Eight years now since you left me behind. Can you believe I actually forgot this anniversary until I was reminded by a single oil lamp burning on the mantle? Even then it took me a minute to remember who, exactly, had passed on this day. I think its a good thing, I think I am finally at peace with decisions made and actions taken that have been haunting me since then. No more guilt. And making Mr +1 an official member of the OP finally filled that gaping hole you tore in my heart. Yup, it took 4 dogs.........each wonderful in their own right but none a replacement for you, little girl. The rest of my heart is yours forever.

I wasn't here during Rosa's "earth journey". I can tell from your words she meant everythingmtomyou, as did you t jer. No matter what, she knew she was loved and every decision was outof love.....she knew that.
It's nice that "the" day became more blurred foryou this uear I think she's at peaxe kowingyoj are movng onto the memories the two of yo shared together.

Ohhh you pretty girl with the gorgeous eyes, how your Momma loves you so. No more tears on this milestone means that your legacy has evolved from tears to joy that fills everyone's hearts, including ours. Thanks so much for your sweet words. Yes, Sally, Rosa was the original Rae dawg. The OP are all named in her honor. Rene, you are right, without Rosa there would be no Oaktown Pack and what on earth would I do without them. As Wyatt is Jerry's legacy, the pack is Rosa's.
