They are SMILE MAKERS & SOOO dang happy. What a joy to see! Wag Wag & butt wiggle, LOVE IT!π It has been 12 years since we had a pup brings back loads of lovely memories watching these guys!
I'm happy to see they are settling down when you open the door i think that one is essential. We can't have you being bulldozed over Sally;)
It is incredible to see how far they have come in such a short time. You will have obedient lapdogs soon at this rate, and I know that's not your plan, but yes, it is coming either way.
Thanks for the videos. We love seeing them and the pawgress!
Our Sileo trial went exceptionally well ππ» we have a winner on the third try. Thanks on the paws crossed, Rene!π
Sally, see what your vet says for Cash as it does have a caution for the heart. I don't think that is Cash but do ask to be safe.
It was sedating for Saxton. I'm not sure it would be for the dogs. I'm sure others have used it on the site. Cats metabolize things much differently. So, sedating is good for our previsit appt. But, our trial run was with no stressors. I'll get back to you when we have the real test!
What I loved about the Sileo it is fast-acting. I saw results in 15 minutes and short-lasting 2 hours for Saxton. He was back to himself 100% as if he was never medicated.Β Saxton is sensitive to most meds; for example, Xanax made him hyper WIRED he was Speed Racer and Starving Marvin. He drove me bonkers for 5 hours straightπ₯Ί, the complete oppositive effect for him. π³
The Sileo relaxed him. He was in a groovy peaceful state in 15 minutes and then peacefully zonked. I will likely try less for storms and such and see how that goes. Of course, he is on four legs, but I did not see any wobbles or anything. I'm thrilled we can help him be more at ease when most needed. The only thing I see might be an issue is the tube has to be used within 4 weeks. That might be ok for you and two dogs. Again sharing in case, it can help the pups!
Loads of love and smooches to all!

So dang cute! They really are getting more patient when it comes to the treats. I love Hank's happy stomping action! BOING! BOING! BOING! And oh my gosh those ear rubs, what a little piece of paradise for him!
Now the question is, what are Myrtle and Frankie doing when you are playing with Hank and Cash? Was that Frankie's howl in the background?Β

THAT is such good news! I hope I never need to use it for our future dog, but it's so awesome there's finally an alternative out there. Wyatt used to get nutso on meds like Xanax too!Β
Oh Sally, Hank and Cash are so blessed that they found you. It takes a special person to see the two of them needed to be adopted together. Some people don't realize the bond that animals can make with each other .
Hank and Cash look right at home and as if they have lived there their entire life!
Love the videos and can't wait to see more! Is Frankie still the boss of the pack?
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.Β With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.Β I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!Β He will live forever in my Heart!
Thanks sweet Jackieβ₯οΈ. Yeah, Cash definitelyΒ is starting to cave from the ear rubs!Β And it does seem like they somehow know they are HOMEπ
Thanks sweet NancyπΒ And it takes a special person to rescue a basicallyΒ hairless starving puppy and nurture her back to health and happinessπΒ Β And yes, Hank and Cash settled in ao quicklyΒ as though they have lived here all their lives.
Thanks sweet HollyπΒ Yes, they are smile makers for sureπ Love that you and others can see their "progress"
And the first hand experienceΒ you had with Sileo and Saxton was invaluable.Β Β Saxton channeling Starving Marvin and Speed Race.too funny.Β .Thanks for taking the time to chronicle Saxton's reaction and all the knowledge you've gained from your research.Β
And sweet Reneβ₯οΈ. Hahaha....yes Hank isΒ BOING, BOING!..It is like he's on a pogo stick!.Β Yes, Frankie consists himself the "regulator" of all the pack.Β Must be channelingΒ his inner Wyattβ₯οΈΒ I'll get some video of all of them together.Β Oh gosh darn....yet another opportunityΒ to post more video!Β Β ππ

Bless your beautiful, loving heart, Sally.Β I have had a few busy months and had not been in the forum, but came here to read up on this wonderful news and watch your sweet videos of two happy hounds who found their best new home.Β And as I've been perusing, I've seen the memorial banners for Isa, Pofi, Wyatt Ray
, & Murphy - a blessing from all of them.
Welcome to happiness, Cash and Hank.
Lisa, Minneapolis
On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. Β His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
Oh Lisa!!! π Thank you!!Β Wonderful to hear from you!!Β And made my heat smile to know the banners of Pofi, Isa, Wyatt and Murphy showed up!Β DefinitelyΒ "paws of approval " from the Bridgeπ

Boy howdy, am I late to the party! (for the record, Hannah, Wyatt and Jerry banners all popped up as I was getting caught up).
So, so happy to see Frankie cuddled up with Hank and Cash. And OMD, Hank's bounce and energy! He is clearly a dog unto himself. Love to see Frankie playing with them too.Β
And very happy to see a little restraint on their part at feeding time. Won't serve anyone if they take you out Sally! I've got Roxy sitting and waiting until I say okay before she's allowed to eat. And before I say okay, I look in her eyes and tell her what a good girl she is and how much I love her. Might work for Hank, hard to say.
Cash is a lap dog waiting to happen. He is definitely thinking about how nice a full body cuddle will be.Β
This whole thread makes me happy!
hugs and hugs and more hugs for you Sally and the whole pack. They have settled in remarkably well.Β
Love,
Teri, the Roxinator and Angel Isa
Right rear leg amp 7/12/16 due to OSA. Metastatic lesion on her right front leg, January 2017. Joined the Winter Warriors January 19, 2017. Run free my sweet girl.
PS...Love how all the "special" banners show upπ

Hank and Cash enjoying their first furever home bone.Β
You can see Cash does pretty darn good gnawingΒ on it with a front leg that'sΒ pretty much fused at the shoulder and can'tΒ flex straight out to use to balance a bone.Β Β Proof you don't need a front leg to chew on a bone!
Then we have crazy happy Hank who just bounces with joy at the thought of his bone.Β Not sure he knew exactly what to do with it.Β Β
Β
Β
I'm pretty sure Hank has fairly bad hip dysplasiaΒ that has become more apparent now that he's free to run around a big yard.Β At first I just thought he had a ganglyΒ long leggedΒ hound gait.Β Then the bunny hopping started as he went up the stairs, then the weakness in the rear legs, slow getting up, the overall weird way his gait looks and on and on.Β So yeah, gonna a have to get this addressed.Β Β
Bottom line though, even with all their "issues" that seem to be showing up more and more, they are sooooo happy!!!!Β I know I say that all the time, but EVERYTHING makes them happy andΒ they find joy and fun in EVERYTHINGΒ

I LOVE seeing how happy these guys are. ππππ
Awe, yes, dear boy. I'm sure the weather changing is not helping Hank either, just like us hoomans. Maybe plug in some heat for Hank; they make outdoor ones you could put on the porch. I bet he would ruv that.
Did Hank ever eat his bone?π he was so excited getting a prize either way:)
Loads of love and smooches to all the pups, please!
