Awwww! LOVE THIS!! smiley_clapI have been thinking about you and the doggos and wondering if they were home now. WHEEEE!!!!

They look so so happy. It's a pure joy to see these pups winning the lotto. CONGRATULATIONS to all of you!

SO are you keeping their names?

Of course Frankie and Myrtle will accept them into the pack, they are such cool dogs themselves I can't imagine any other way. What fun!

So happy for you Sally and even happier for Hank and Cash!

They look so happy being home.  I am sure it will take a little bit but everyone will adjust.  Just like bringing in a new puppy there are growing pains and everyone has to figure out the pack and their spots.  🙂   They will do great.  Keep sharing the videos

Hugs to all of you

Oh gosh!  You all are bringing  tears to my eyes!  Thank you for sharing our joy and our love with your joy and your love🙏💖

Oh ueah....lots of videos and pics

A dear friend of ours  and of everyone sent these two hounds a welcome home package.   Only ended up with one useable video of them "opening"  it.   Hank not k retested (had to take the food out first), but Cash clearly said MINE....took off with it and destroyed  the stuffy within seconds!!

I did give them both the treats, ....shhhh......but made sure Feankie and Myrtle got extra.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Oh, and a little uncertain on the name "Hank" cuz it sounds like Frank(ie)  Not sure how much they respond to their names anyway at this point.

It really is fun seeing how happy they are already.  Cash was more timid at first.  But 24 hrs later the transformation  delightful to watch.

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

And here a picture of Cash proudly  showing off his destroyed  stuffy.  Hank not interested at all.

OH my DOG they are so LOVED!!! Lucky dawgs! What a welcome pawty!!!

You are so right, I didn't even consider that Frankie and Hank sound alike. Good thing he's not named Hankie.

How about naming him Waylon?

Oh how adorable!! Yes, they have hit the doggie jackpot indeed!! I agree with the name, you could call him Harold instead of Hank icon_lol Or you could watch him for a little bit and see if something just comes to you sp_hearticon2

Your pecking order will change and everypawdy will settle in I am sure. I have also been thinking about you and hoping all is well so this is wonderful to see!

Sending hugs, can't wait to see MORE!!

Oh Sally!  Thrilled you got them home now!  It’ll all work out and myrtle & Frankie will accept and be best friends with them at some point. You have the biggest heart and those two definitely need some Sally love and stability at this point in their lives. The universe had a plan and those two won the doggie lottery when you met them and fell in love!  Our Angels all had a hand in this especially your Happy Hannah…that biggest instigator lol. So happy for you and those two deserving souls!  Love and hugs from WI!

I can't tell who is happier you or Hank and Cash, so I will say congratulations to all! It takes a special soul to adopt those two, and that special soul is you. But as you know your will get so much more in return❤️

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.  With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.  I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!  He will live forever in my Heart!

Sally - I'm with Nancy - I can't tell if you or the dogs are more excited!  Hank and Cash are so very lucky to be able to call you their hooman, and I'm sure Frankie and Myrtle will soon be thrilled to have some new playmates around.  I truly admire you for seeing the potential in every dog and welcoming home not 1 but 2!  Wishing you and your newly expanded pack lots of love! sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2Stacy

Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com

So Sally, did you decide to keep Hank as his name?

We need an update!

Actually yesterday was their one week Gotcha' Versary.👏  I'm still in awe at how quickly and how smoothly they have sertled into their new furever home.🙏   They wag and wiggle and love being petted.

So far I'm still calling  Cash,  Cash and Hank, Hank .

Update you say??  My pleasure!  Okay, here we go! 👍

These two are definitely  "bonded".  They always lay touching each other. Hank is attention starved (only in his mind) and bumps and pushes Cash out of the way even when petting both at the same time.   Hank is a very strong willed Hound and strong physically.. Yep, familiar  with those hound traits😎

Cash chews his food and eats slowly.  Hank inhales his food and wags so hard and with such force  while eating sometimes  he falls over.🤣😂

Just got Hank one of those "slow feeder bowls  and it has worked miracles.

Finally had a chance to look at their "records".  A few "issues" beyond "just" being a tripawd and "just" being half blind,  Both have "heart issues" and were seen by a Cardiologist.   Apparently  from birth.  At this point  they just need to be monitored and no meds for now.  Have to always be careful  with anesthesia.

Cash had "tiny balls" (my medical term) when they neutered  him.  He then had an anal abscess that needed treatment.  They both had skin sores.

Hank was brought to them worn down teeth they thought was from chewing  on maybe fencing, cage  etc. He's 63 lbs now....was 48 lbs at intake.

Poor Cash, in addition to his deformed leg (reason for amp), also had a deformed  or broken mandible  (jaw?).  Also diagnosed with  elbow dysplasia on his one front leg.  I knew that as it is very obvious. He's not in the best of shape as far as being a strong tripawd with a perfect gait.  Far from it.

The shelter did such a good job of rakkng care of these two and certainly  went above and beyond in their care.  Hank was thought to be completely  blind, but the shelter took him to the eye Specialist  and they were able to restore "some" sight by removing  cataracts.  And when heart murmurs were detected,  taking them to a Cardiologist.   Proceeding  with amputation  and follow up care.

To see these two flourish and greet each day with such joy and excitement  makes me soooo happy😁  Both have delightful  dispositions and just so much fun to be around

Still haven't  "merged" Myrtle and Frankie with Cash and Hank yet except woth fence line inbetween them.  Myrtle  is becoming  less and less interested in going to the fence.  Frankie still voices his displeasure  but it helps that Hank and Cash just ignore him.

Okay, so quick video showing  Frankie voicing his opinion, and then how easily distracted he is of I say "-cookie".  Again, no agression.

Then the video of Cash and Hank eating.  I let them decide  where they wanted their spot to be to eat.  Cash likes to eat on his "daybed".  Hank like to eat in the bottom half of the doghouse.  Go figure.

Wheeee! Hoppy Adoptaversary Cash and Hank! How does it feel to be living the good life now? PAWESOME I'll bet!

Sally you are such an angel. Your patience in bringing the pack together is beyond compare, you are so good with knowing how to do this. I wouldn't have a clue! Frankie and Myrtle are such cool dogs, they'll come around.

It sounds like despite the medical issues Cash and Hank are doing pretty darn well? The happiness that's overflowing in their heart right now is the best kind of medicine. I hope they both stay healthy furever and ever!

Don't you just love the slow feeder bowl?

So did the rescue not release their medical records until after adoption? Just curious.

Cash and Hank it is. I love those names.

LOVE this pupdate! Thank you! sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2
