He does make a good cheese head...  Bub is by far one of the most photogenic puppers we've ever had.  My little Chester was photogenic, but not like the Bubs. I just enjoy documenting his journey and I had only wished I had this opportunity when my little Chester was diagnosed with cancer.  There was't any options when he was diagnosed a year ago.  We lost two beautiful babes to cancer, our beautiful lab in 2007 and my Yorkie Chester last year.  I'm working on a tribute video for our son, so having this outlet to share his story is so awesome.  We'll be able to look back and have all these memories to share.

Bub does warm the heart on these bone chilling days.  One of my favorite things  do anymore is lay by him as his nuzzles his cold, wet nose in my hair.  He's such a fun goof ball big-grin

Warm, wet, sloppy kisses from Bubba....

Bubba says "Yay stitches are out"...  Now just to livin' life one day at a time - Happy dog, Happy life!  His appointment went exceptionally well.  Bubba has exceeded all expectations with his recovery, adjustment to three legs, and just his overall attitude.  Gosh how we love this boy.

Thank you so much Stewie and gang!  I'll be honest, I was expecting things to be very different with his amputation and recovery, so  I am so thankful for how things have been going so far for him.  Attitude is everything...

Awe... Thank you Jerry and Sally!

I just love how amazing everyone here is and so supportive.  I will agree with how incredibly handsome our Bub is, though, I am a bit biased.  I sure wished everyone could actually meet him and really get to enjoy his goofy personality and big ole heart.  He was always a hit where ever he would go but now, the attention he gets from total strangers is amazing. He definitely soaks it up big-grin  Here's to continued awesome days of lazing around and playful silliness.

Thank you Karen!  Honestly one would never guess he had his leg amputated because how he has adjusted.  We are 17 days post surgery and he's been off pain meds except for his anti-inflammatory  for a week ago today.  He's friskier each day. We've modified his diet when we found out he had osteaosarcoma.   We've increased his raw food intake, fish oil, upped his protein and less carbs, and supplements.  Rocky's dad is sending him Armor Up, and joint supplement from Homer and Evan.  Such amazing people here!  Bub has been full of himself today smiley

RASBERRY!!!  RASBERRY!!!  Wanna give that beautiful GSD tummy a smooching Rasberry!!

I do believe you are one of the few dogs who actually knows how to pose perfectly for the camera!  Of course, when you're a RockStar it goes along with the territory  of being famous!! 🙂
