Thank you Petra and Stewie...

We're so relieved that it turned out to be nothing.  This disease brings so much pain and heart ache as so many know.  Maybe, just maybe, if we are lucky, Bubba will by the grace of god fall into that 10% category of the cancer didn't spread beyond his wrist and by amputating his leg, scapula and lymph nodes they got it all.  Realistically, those chance are slim, so we just continue as we have been doing smileyheart

Time sure is flying by.  Bubba is 35 days post amputation and is still going strong, we couldn't be happier and are so thankful and blessed.  He enjoyed a day out in the trails with my husband and I as we rode out fatbikes over the weekend.  He's one strong dog and I plan to take him on a short skijoring run out on the river with our other dog.  His activity level is back to where he was before amputation and seems much happier when we let him go.  Muscle are strong and well developed.  I continue to massage, stretch and actively do range of motion with him. His hair is really starting to grow back and his incision looks amazing.  smiley

No, no worries at all, except maybe when it comes to food.  He likes his food and wants to eat all the time big-grin

Hoppy 35 days out, Bubba! You look like one hoppy dog. We would love to see more photos of you in all that glorious snow.

Here's an old post from the way back machine that you may enjoy. Our Jerry wrote about Calpurnia the Husky Tripawd when she was doing canicross, which is like skijoring:

You'll need to share your adventures too!

What an awesome story.  I will for sure share photos when we go out on the river.  We're getting a pretty hefty snow storm right now-all the schools in both Wisconsin and Minneapolis/St. Paul have closed.  Our area is expected to get 10+ of snow.  I'll for sure be getting a video today.  Stay tuned.

Okay, here's a little "blast from the past" while we're waiting for Bubba's snow video! 🙂

Oh my gosh!!!! Thank you for sharing this Sally.  This is the absolute best and those two amazing pups.  I'm working on a video from earlier.  We have been getting a couple inches an hours and goofy Bubba has been loving it.

Thank you Petra, Stewie and Pride.  Bubba is starting to prefer not wearing his t-shirt.  His hair is starting to grow out nicely and his incision is fully healed. He doesn't seem to bother with it smiley
