I come from a long lineage of animal lovers who have gone above and beyond to save them. 1st rescue was with my Grandmother in Barcelona, Spain. Someone dumped kittens into a storm drain, so she attached a rope to a wicker basket and scooped them out 1 by 1. The water runs through the basket; brilliant idea! I always adopt the "problem child" without hesitation!
