JERRY!!! WHOA!! WAIT!!! HOLD UP!! STOP THE PRESSES!!!
Did you read what I jist read from Alison and was your nterpretatin the same??
ALISON.....are you saying if we made it say .....June 29th......or the following Sunday, July 6th...you may be avle to come?????
Or heck, even the following Suday or Saturday...........A little delay if it means making it bigger and more beneficial to the trioawd community...yeah....."good things are worth waiting for"!
Actually, if we made it the July 6th date that wold REALKY give us time to promote this thing and make it a REAL fun-raising AND fund-raising event!! Alison, put your creative wheels turning!
It's possible.....slightly possible...-.I could get someone kimd of well-knlwn locally to provide a little musical entertainment.
Okay...jist throwing it out tjere!
(And yes, Jerry, I can do some flier pass-outs in the Richmond area and will get some local media co tacts too!)
Hugs and love!
Saly and Happy Hannah
And Alison, it really is a great thing you are ding that week-end. SHELBYSTRONG is soooooooo
proud of you!!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Haha, Sally you are so funny. Unfortunately we can not do anytime the week of July 6th..the week after, YES.
I shared via FB, and can post some flyers as well! Perhaps we can send out digital flyers to the local vets offices/canine cancer groups via social media? I know there have been a bunch of Tripawds at Dogwood, the oncology center. Tanner and I were stopped at a Pet expo by one of their booth attendants asking about my shirt recently (I had a tripawds shirt on).

Elizabeth, you nad Tanner HAVE to be there! Sooooooo .....maybe July 11th-12th?
I kow we're chamging up the date, but I'm thinking with a little more time, we can get more participants as well as more visibility for The Tripawds Uni!verse!
We'll of course have perhaps a candle lighting ceremony (or something similar) to honor those who have earned their Angel Wngs.
Michelle, you can start driving from Idaho now........

Ooh, I will keep a watch out! June 22 was definitely a no go for me as my Grandaughter is getting Baptised that day. But, maybe, just maybe.......
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
Sally you crack me up. Michelle is in Iowa not Idaho!
OK, settle on a date and let me know for sure when you want to do it. I'll wait on further promotion or fliers until you confirm, no big deal.

Uh hey everyone, the 6/22 date has already made the rounds on Facebook with Greyhounds Rock and some other folks. Are you sure this date won't work?
The 22nd is also the day of Morris Animal Foundation's Unite to Fight virtual walk, what a neat thing to do on that very special day don't you think?

Even though I can't be there - I will be doing SOMETHING for canine cancer that day (my spin-a-thon) and I think you all should keep the date! Who's to say this is the ONLY gathering there will ever be?!?
As much as I would love to journey out that way in the summer, financially, it isn't in the cards for me this summer... but I do hope/plan to do as others have and make the rounds to visit my Tripawd family!!! I think you should keep the date (my two cents)! XO
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Yes! Keeping June 22nd! DONE!! Glad it's already made the rounds.......THANKS!! Ahhh, the joys of "social media" .
JNE 22nd........ROCKWOOD PARK 9 - 2 Again, that's jist the time we jave the shelter reserved....we still jave access to the dog park, nature trails, the entire park the rest of the day anuway. I'm thinking most of us would be more towards arou d 11ish anyway snce we have some traveling tripawds. Anytime is good though.
I live the closest so I can be there earlier if we ave early arrivals ad later if we jave late arrivals
Soooo.....as soon as you can, let us here the approx. arrival times.
Idaho? Iowa? Either way...Michelle, start driving now!!

Btw, June 22 is also Lexie's honorary birthday! (Rescue folks know that adolescent dogs often get the 'about 1 to 1.5 years old' guesstimate' from the shelter, and our first vet asked us to make up a birthday not knowing her real one). So between that and 6/22 being the Morris cancer walk, I'll ake that as a good sign.
Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
Good sign indeed!
I've added the event to the Richmond daily newspaper events calendar (can't remember the name of the paper!), and also Richmond.com, as well as Craig's List.
So would you guys like a flyer to put up around town?
