11/19/14. "I cant believe my favorite sweater still fits!"
Calvert has begun to lose his hair. Hand fuls of his hair fall out when I pet him. And from what ive read, that is a symptom of kidney failure. So, sweaters it is to make sure he stays warm! !
Oh Calvert...you are so handsome in your sweater!! I love how you are just posing for the camera thinking "yeah I know I look good!"
I'm sorry that your having some hair loss issues right now but you will still be that handsome boy everyone here has come to love!! You hang in there buddy...you and your mom still have A LOT of days left for great adventures!

11/20/14. Calvert looked deep in thought about something. He has kind of a perplexed look. Ive noticed he might be kinda depressed. I want to kiss all his worries away. I want there to be such a thing as magic so he can magically be healthy. Although he's still not anywhere close to the end, I think today has been a rough day. And I think its ok to have an occasional bad day. C'mon Calvert, let's go to bed. Tomorrow's a new day.

Remember, Calvert is NOT worrying about a thing! He doesn't give a rip about any ole'stupid diagnosis or statistics! Calvin does NOR have a time frame stamped on his butt!!
Actually, what you perceive as worry or depressed, may be Calvert thinkingnhow he can get that sweater off him! My Happy Hannah was not anhappy camper if I put any kind of clothes on her!.
Looking forward to next picture! Calvert is a miracle dog on so many levels!!!

11/21/14. I will be out of town for a bit. I was very lucky to have someone I know amd who knows mu dogs house sit for me. Calvert was very happy to see him 
Yes indeedy, Cal f ert looks perfectly content with his BFF Dog Sitter! I think they should both have matching PJs!!
Okay....so out of town a few days means you have to double up on photos when you get back!!

Calvert is the picture of contentment with his buddy the dog sitter. He looks so relaxed I want to curl up on a couch with him and snuggle.
And as Sally mentioned....Double pictures!!! We love seeing Calvert everyday!

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
