Sorry I could not resist. He seems so much better!big-grin Tired now though, but has followed me from room to room since we got back. I made him a bed here in my office so he would rest. We were only home 10 minutes when he went back outside, slipped out of garage with other dogs. When he came in,(my fault, did not have a runner down) he slipped on the wet floorsad I am so mad at myself. I am hoping that he did not hurt anything. I think he was more scared than anything. He acted ok after, some of the pics (by the front door) were actually taken after our mishap. Now vet wants to talk chemo again....Metronomic, Holistic???? I am so confused. Drain comes out in a week. Here are some pics of his homecoming. He has a shine back in his eyes. I will be glad when it is tomorrow and I can truly see that he did not hurt himself. I would like to get a harness, but he has not been yet healed enough to wear one. JX0nUS4AAAAASUVORK5CYII=

Welcome home Ty!

You look wonderful....and tell Mom that you are fine after your fall....probably just a bit embarrassed.

Don't even think about chemo talk today or tomorrow....rest, snuggle and enjoy that your big guy is home.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Oh good.  This is wonderful news.  I am soooo happy that Ty is feeling better.  Better start hiding those shoes!

Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury.  Her amp was on 10/1/12.  She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera.  We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Aww! Welcome home! He looks good! The coughing could just be from having been intubated during surgery. Hang in there! Get rest and try to relax :)

Welcome home Ty! And you already scored a shoe!!!!

Both of you rest up and don't worry about what comes next. Take a couple days to enjoy a little normal, then decide what the next course will be.

Oh my gosh...I just got all caught up on Ty's condition this past week.  Holy cow...he looks great!  I'm so happy he is back where he belongs.  What a fighting spirit he has.

There's lots of info on here about metronomic therapy and holistic approaches.  We had a good run with the metronomic therapy for Libby.  Hang in there Ty...you're doing pawesome!

Amy & Spirit Libby

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13.  Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14.  She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self.  Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

I'm so happy that Ty is home.  I haven't commented bc I usually log on from my phone and it gets messed up when I try to type but I have been checking in multiple times a day for updates on Ty.  You and Ty have been through so much but he looks awesome and happy to be home!  I'm sending lots of pawsitive thoughts your way!  You are such a good mommy to Ty! He is a lucky pup!

Oh this is the BEST DAY EVER!!!!

Welcome home buddy, you sure have a sparkle in your eye, I can see it!

I'm gonna box up all of my shoes and send them to you. Will you do me the honor of hiding them around your house? It's so wonderful you're back with the pack :)

Enjoy your cuddle time and being together again. You've made all of us so hoppy.

Hooray!!!  We are so glad to see those pictures of Ty right back where he belongs. He looks absolutely wonderful.  Keep on snuggling, belly rubbing, loving and everything else you do to make him know just how happy you are to have him back home (as if he doesn't already know).

Kathi and Murphy

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

You did it baby! It warms my heart to see you interested in that sneaker. I think Mama said you can have it as a welcome home present. Go on, chew it up! So happy to see the sparkle back in your eyes little guy. You scared the %#&$ out of your mama and all her friends here. I know you'll heal up fast with all that love around you!!!!
