I think a video chat would be awesome! Tina and I often video chat, and I love it! When I saw this topic, I first imagined it being a video version of the chat room (which would also be great), but having a particular topic is a good idea. Paws crossed it works out.

Paula and Warrior Angel Nitro

Nitro 11 1/2  yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms.  Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

So I see two things here that could be issues if we went forward with a chat: 1) the bandwidth issue. Some of us have slower internet connections than others (hand raised here!) and so yes Petra, we would have delays in participating. But I'm thinking if we set the dates in advance, those of us with slower connections could go somewhere with faster speeds if we wanted to (say, sitting outside a library, which we've been known to do).

The other issue would be the time difference. Paula, how do you and Tina work that out?

I like the idea of freeform chats too, where it's always open and anyone who wanted to jump in and be on video could. I'll have to run that by admin and look into it.

Appreciate the feedback here, I'm so excited that there's some interest! Keep sending your thoughts our way if you'd like, the more the merrier.

Tina and I will usually do mid-morning for me, which is later afternoon for her. She has some free time right now, so week days work as well as weekends. This is such an exciting possibility!
