Caring for a Three Legged Dog or Cat

Hmmmm....I don't  think there is any specific timeframe arthritis MAY  show up in Tripawds.  AND, I don't  think it's neccesarily  a given that a tripawd will get arthritis.  Of course, most dogs do get "as they age type arthritis",. 

Now, that doesn't   they might be more "prone" to it, just like a larger dog. Ight ve, or a dog who has been extremely  active and hard on their joints, etc.

I think Wyatt is almost twelve, amd he didn't  start showing signs until the last two  years  maybe?  Rene can fill you in, but I don't  think it's been j til the last year or so that they"ve had to be more aggressive with treatment.

I have an adopted Teipawd who jas been a three legger for about seven years????  Not exactly  sure how old he is or why the amputation.   Anyway, this dog is a crazy wild play full out boy who has gone on escape adventures  that involved miles and miles of running  and exploring and gone for several days and nights.  He has also had three differe t operation s on his two remaining  legs.  So yes, he is showing  signs of arthritis.  

Guess just trying to say, EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT You give supplements, curtail any wild extended, crazy escapade like my Frankie pulled, take precautions etc.
