Congrats on Tom. I am glad you didn't let statistics hold you back from getting another Golden. Robert and I have 3: Boomer, a 7 year old tripawd of 12 days due to cancer, his sister Sunshine, an 8 year old that has to face surgery on her front paw next week (we are praying it isn't cancer) and Sammy (a monkey butt who is 6 and craves all the attention he can get). My heart goes out to Tom's sire, Euchre's family, but I know Scout met him at the bridge to show him around.
Thinking of you while you count down the days until your new furry kid can come home.

This is Tom (or at least one of the 3 males in his litter), Monkeydog Federation, (self-appointed) Mid Continent Division Leader. He's been growing, his eyes are open, and (thank goodness) no longer looks like a puppy sausage. He is now 4 weeks old and will be heading South in a mere (ok... agonizingly long) five weeks. I am in love!
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
Eeeeeeee!! Soooo cute!!!
We can't wait to bring him on board! (And there are LOTS of cute monkeydogs! Just look at me!)
We are waiting for you to join our ranks little TomTom!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
