May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
Hello Katy, Jackson and All,
I am new here, and in the exact same position. My beautiful 10 year old Rottweiler Baron was diagnosed with osteosarcoma 2 1/2 years ago and his right hind amputated in 10/13. He has done wonderfully!! Until these last few weeks where we noticed him slowing down and just not seeming to feel well. Took him in yesterday and he was diagnosed with the dreaded hemasarcoma. He has a 6 centimeter tumor on his spleen and his red blood cell count was 26 yesterday. Devastated is an understatement. The breeder we got Baron from 10 years ago told me that Baron's full sister was also diagnosed with this cancer back in October and she was in worse shape than he is right now, basically at deaths door. A vet recommended Yunnan Baiyou and she did a complete turnaround, and is doing fantastic today. So, today I drove from our Chicago suburban home to Wisconsin to pick some of the stuff up, enough to keep us until my online order arrives. Praying that we get some extra time with my best friend. Prayers to all of you and your fur babies who are going thru this.
Hello Baron and pack, your future posts will not have to wait for approval.
I'm so sorry you and Baron are going through a second cancer, many of us here have been there as well. Jackson crossed the Bridge last April, almost a year ago.
Please consider starting your own thread in Share Your Story so you don't get lost in this older thread. Hemangio is a tough one, there are several members here who have fought that battle.
I hope that you have lots of quality time with your boy.
