Thank you for sharing, omd beautiful pictures and memorial. You all fought so hard, and you held steadfast to your girl.

We all know that dogs are man's best friend, but seldom are we to them. You did your girl justice. Thank you.

You gave Izzi the best life, and now that she has earned her beautiful wings she will watch over you and your family. Watch for her.

Sending you huge hugs and lots of love. I know Izzi had the best that life could offer her because of you.

Jackie and Huck ❤️❤️

I'm really sorry to see that she got her wings. Izzi has been such a hero to all of us, it seemed like she could live forever. I imagine you felt the same way too.

Making that decision to set her spirit free was undoubtedly the hardest thing ever, what a selfless thing you did for her sake.  Because of you, she transitioned on knowing she was a treasured part of your life, loved from the day she met you.

My deepest condolences go out to your pack. Izzi's spirit lives on forever in the Tripawds community.

I am so sorry to hear this news.  You are in my thoughts.

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

Wherever they are, they are together.

We are all soooo ,privileged,  so very privileged to get to know this RockStar of a dog!  And make jo mistake, Izzi will always be an inspirational RockStar around here!!

Your devotion  and dedication  to your Izzi is why she got so many bonus days, especially  between Christmas and her transition.❤   That video of her soooo happu openi up one of her Christmas  presents melted mu jeart and had me grinning  ear to ear!  Her tail could not stop wagging!! She was sooo proud of her present and thrilled to pieces to have it!!!   I looove how happy she was and could care less whether  she was fully mobile or not!    Izzi was still being Izzi😎

I'm so glad you are doing Izzi's blog.  I have to catch up, but I've  been reading it little bit by little bit when I can really focus in it and savor every morsel about this special girl.

Thank you again fotr sharing this special Soul with us.  Izzi will always be remembered  here....as will uour devotion to her 💖

Thank you guys so much heartThis has been a really difficult 6 months but I have found a tiny bit of peace in knowing she's not hurting anymore. I was really nervous to start that blog but writing about everything has actually been really therapeutic. I don't know how I'll finish it because it's still hard to think about her last days. But for now it's been good to revisit some of our happier ones.

We understand.  Just blog when you feel like it.  Sometimes mit will flow and you will have a smile in your heart.  Sometimes it just won't  feel right, so just walk away for the time being.

Yes, those last days tend to stay with us during the first part of our grief.  It's  such an intense time and it just overtakes  our thinking...for awhile.  That was just a blink of an eye compared to the thousands  of great mome. mts you and Izzi shared❤Thankfully,  we eventually accept that our dogs, our Izzi, didn't  hold onto those last moments at all!   No way!  What she held onto was that she was surrounded  by love nd jou and happiness and compassion and caring every single moment of every day❤

Stay connected  with us.  We love hearing about Izzi.  And we also understand  like no others can.

((((Hugs)))) just an idea... Good, bad, I'm going to throw it out there.

Rather than concentrate on the beginning of the end of Izzi's earth life, maybe you could zig zag back and tell tales in chapters. Events that you think of that have stayed with you that you could share.

I know the writing is theraputic, and you do it so well ❤️

You never have to get to the end, but her life with you was so special. If it gets too hard or you get too busy just stop for a while. Or for good if that's what you need, it's just an idea.

Sending big hugs, you are truly an angel to the furbabies you help 🤗🤗🤗
