FRANKIE SUPER COOL DAWG GOT UP FROM A SITTING POSITION ONCE ON HIS OWN LAST. NIGHT!!!! Still won't use "that" leg to help his stubborn a*s self....but that's avout to change when that Rehab gets here!! PAW WILL BE ON THE GROUND!!!!
Have only had o e phone contzct just now and she seemed very compassionate avlut Frankie's situation. I don't even know what her credentials are at this point, but I don't even care. I'll figure all that out later!! She's gling to do her best to get out BEFORE Christmas. I know this is a busy time for everyone so I appreciated thst she was going to make that effort!

Christmas time is indeed a time for magic and miracles - how awesome to have a rehab vet come to you! Frankie will be back on all 3 in no time. That damp heat thing is what my chiro uses on me before he does the adjustments...feels heavenly. I would imagine Frankie agrees. Things seem to be headed in the right direction for you both. There is no better Christmas present than that! Hugs!

Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

I keep going back to Rene's picture... it is just TOO ADORABLE!!! It's a BIRD! , it's a PLANE! , it's SUPER FRANKIE !!!!! 
Just makes me giggle thinking of it! I am so glad things are turning around.. I think all of our little angels over us made a HUGE ruckus and DEMANDED that something give NOW! And now you have somebody coming to the house!! Just fantastic news! And Frankie finally being more dog and getting pig headed to do things on his own, that just tells you he's starting to feeling better.

OMD love love love Rene's picture of supercool Frankie! GREAT news about the rehab person coming to your house! Sally you're doing the best job being Frankie's nurse! I can't imagine anyone else having a more caring, loving and compassionate person than you to take care of them. We know this hasn't been easy for you all and you're doing a spectacular job on all of it! I know that home rehab will be just the "edge" you need to get Frankie back to three! Sending so much love and hugs to all three of you and I can hear Happy Hannah cheering for Frankie all the way here in frozen WI! Apparently she tried having a dream chat with supercool Frankie but the drugs were a bit of a hindrance. So according to Max she's now on her soapbox leading the Angels in cheering for Frankis full recovery so it's quite loud. 🐾

The video you are a put to see is scary. The heavy breathing you are hearing is me freaking put trying to catch hom. In one video I'm just in my socks because I was just taking him to the porch so he woukd pee ther. STRONR WILLED FRANKIE had other ideas!
Oh, and all the rugs and blankets on his ramp, that's how I covered up the slippery mlunds of ice that just were not going to melt. The feed store was all out of grit as well as the deicer. I was NOT prepared for this at all...any of it!
PLEASE keep in mi d when you see the cideo it's just myself and urse Myrtle. He ABSOLUTELY should not be doing this!! I ABSOLUTELY GET THAT!!

the thought of him running on two legs is a little horrifying. I'm sure it makes your heart skip a beat or twelve. I understand the complications of doing so but you made need to video his "run for the potty." We tripawds are a strange lot that find the most horrifying things entertaining. Why I felt at home there immediately.

Sally he does really well balancing himself on 2 legs. Now with that being said my next comment it to Frankie "stop out running your mom on 2 legs"

Oh Sally... I'm so sorry - I cried. Why? Because I was laughing so hard!!
I think I heard you whisper, "Okay Frankie, do it your way." He said, "Thanks, okay I will." as he toddled over. Remember 3-Paws, the cat with 2 legs? Remember that cheesie cat Feta, with two legs, one gone and a back one sticking straight out? They all did it their way. I'm sure this is hard and somewhat frustrating for you so I'll send you love and supportive thoughts that Frankie will try to slow down and stay with you. Hear that Frankie?
Frankie knows he has love and encouragement from around the world and if feeling better and just showing off a bit. Your rehab person will do wonders and who knows, Frankie might follow her directions.

Just watched the 2nd video (Sally you were posting at the same time I did). You may not notice but he is touching his toe to the ground. He isn't weight bearing a lot yet but he is getting there. So breathe. I think he is on his way kiddo. 🙂
That leg is getting better and better each day. Yes he stumbled but he got right back up which is a good sign

And I was thinking the same thing Michelle- a couple of toe touches, and he is brushing the leaves with his toes too, so his foot is almost on the ground most of the video.

Yes Michelle, I saw it TOO! OMDawg... shaking head here, laughing, stopped breathing once.. Frankie is just way too much and he KNOWS he has his mama wrapped around his good paw, omg lolol On the brighter side, he really looks good! He looks strong (willed too hahah) and he looks like he is recovering albeit HIS way... oh my! That was really ingenious putting all the throws down!
He looks like he is having a great time tormenting you Sally... tail wagging the whole way! And look at how he STOOD up from a total laying position! You are rocking this even though you don't see it. Wish you were close enough to hug while we watch this again 6 months from now laughing our @sses off, heheh 
Good job, no.. GREAT job! You are going to need more chocolate though for the bursts of energy it takes to chase him. Frankie boy... give mama a break, please! I think at this point the chocolate should be on Amazon auto delivery.. just sayin'

And YES, his pain is MUCH BETTER MANAGED NOW!!! I'm even cutting back on the Tram a little and giving him one Gaba at night, and today I skipped his morning dose to see how he does.
And I'm soooo glad you all could see the leg dropping! I don't think I went back and looked at that video after I made it because.....well....when participating in the "live action" I thught I would keel over from fright like those poor goats do!! 🙂

Dr Stephanie Weedle, DVM, CRVMT (think I got that right) Certified through Healing and Qellness Center (??) and then did course at University of Tennessee. Had to chuckle a little vbit, there was possibly a little ".arketing" goi g in. Me tioned Assi Loop (aka Smokey's Loop) and Help em Up Harness. I was avle to thank her nicely, vut mentioned through Friend of SUPERCOOL DAWG FRANKIE we've had all that donated!
She also mentioned after her initial assessment, perhaps an Assistant she's worked with before could come out for several visits kn a daily basis and help!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
