Soooo, fourth Rehab visit and Frankie STILL IMPROVING!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 To be able to have this.MAGICAL GIFT of home visits is TRULY A MIRACLE!!!
ROM exercises gping well with her

). Had a bit of a vummer in that the laser pack only lasted less about a mjnjte before battery failed. Some is better than none tbough!!
She added an "advanced" technique and that is to get Frankie to walk in a circle one way, and then the other. It was hard on him and he was already quite exhausted from the ROM exercises. I'm supposed to walk in front of him holding treats. Again,another two person activity. The circling made me "car sick nauseous" so I wasn't doing a very good job!
Note how he looked at the couch and then looked at me. "Make her stop and get me up on my couch!!"
At the moment, I have her scheduled for three more full visits with ROM, massage, laser and the circle. I'm sooooo grateful to be able to get this much done!!! Did I mention a IMIRACLE She did suggest treadwater and acupuncture would be helpful. And ideally she woukld like to continue with bi-weekly visits for a while. I haven't been able to get the "helper" over her and it looks like it will be a challenge due to her schedule and mine not being very compatible. Ugh!
I thank everyone for all your suplort and ceering us i !!! It has been hard, really really hard on voth of us!! Without your unwavering support in every way.......well......I could NEVER have made it on my own!!! Without the Rehab....without YOU.....don't even want to go down that path. I LOVE THE PATH YOU ALL PAVED FOR US!

He really has been dping a great job of monitoring himself. yes, we want him to be able to put supportive pressure on that third leg soon. That will continue to happen though as we move into his second month

He is toe touching, moving the leg up and down and putting a little weight on it. AWESOME! He is weight bearing a little with the PT lady too in the circle exercises.
Keep at it Sally- even if you get one rep in the exercises it will help.
It was all the PT lady could do to keep Frankie off his couch

AWESOME progress!!! Definitely putting some weight on it in that last video. I have believed from the beginning of this that Frankie would "police himself" and know instinctively when to start using it. This makes my heart happy happy happy! Good boy Frankie! So happy the rehab is helping looks like our boy is well on his way! Love it! Happy New Year and sending love to all!!
Yay Sally. that video is awesome. I am so so glad he has gotten where he is. 🙂 He is doing so awesome and that last video oh my gosh. I am so happy 🙂

Good going Frankie and Sally! Sally, you may think that you aren't being too successful with his ROM exercises, but you are. Even if you do it a bit on his bad leg and happen to work on his good leg, Frankie is visualizing the movement and sees himself walking with both back legs. You are reminding the muscles how to move. Athletes, such as golfers, figure skaters, down-hill skiers visualize, so why not Frankie?
You should be proud and thrilled with his progress and determination.
