Done! I think he would be proud of all the tripwads and pawrents helped in his name.

Beth and Spirit Smilin' Sammy

Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.

We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.

Hard to believe it's been three years and eight months since Jerry left us. Not that we're counting or anything.

Please enjoy this tribute video we produced a year after we said goodbye while giving your tripawd a good ear rub...

Such beautiful, beautiful dogs-I know they are are playing joyfully as we write. Such a blessing to have them be part of such wonderful families. Thanks for all your sharing, and may you all have peace in your hearts.

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Ah, the third of the month, the day my pawrents and I light a candle for Spirit Jerry. This is his day.

Yo Jerry, something tells me we would have gotten along pretty good in pawson. Thanks for watching over all of us and taking care of Tripawds from wherever you are. We think you're da bomb.

It's hard to believe nearly four years have passed since Jerry left this world. We dearly miss our three legged leader, but know he is watching over Tripawds everywhere.

It's been one year since my sweet Brady left me and joined all those wonderful pups who had gone before him.  Our precious rottie BettyLou went to meet him two days ago.  Brady and BettyLou were the best of friends here on earth and now they are together once again.  Words cannot express the sorrow I felt at BettyLou's passing especially the timing and since it was completely unexpected.

I wanted to come back here today to again express my thanks to everyone in this group for being there for me before Brady had his amputation and also when he suddenly died afterward.  It was comforting to know others were completely aware of what I felt and I will always feel blessed that I found you here.  You do a tremendous servie for all that find their way to the site.  Thank you so much.

One year goes by in the blink of an eye, doesn't it? I'm so very sorry that your heart hurts not just for Brady's one year anniversary but now for BettyLou's passing as well. This has got to be a very ruff night for you, please accept my deepest condolences.

It's an honor to be remembered by your coming back here during such an emotional time. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and remembering the Tripawds community. Please know we are thinking of you, Brady and Betty Lou on this night, now and always.

A truly heroic dog — his spirit and your story have helped thousands. Jerry is not only running free, but running proud. As for his pack, thank you for everything you do.

This is an all-time favorite, from before we even hit the road with Jerry. In honor of his passing on this day, just 50 months ago. The clip was used in Why We Love Cats And Dogs.

A smile is the best way to remember him...

Youtube removed the original "Basketball Jones" soundtrack! whatever

Awesome video. A smile is definitely the best way to remember but it can still be hard to stop a tear or two from sneaking out! Thanks for sharing it.

Hugs for all of you.
