That is a wonderful picture! Thanks for sharing and I will go put her name Shellie Belle (a beautiful name for a beautiful dog) on the shirt right now!

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Just a reminder, the K9 Cancer Walk is next Sunday!!! 10/10/10! Remember to take your own dogs on a walk in your own neighborhood if you are too far away or can't make the event!!!

Many thanks to all who helped make the Los Gatos K9 Cancer walk such a smashing success! This just in from the Morris Animal Foundation ...
Thank you for participating in the 1st annual Morris Animal Foundation K9 Cancer Walk in Los Gatos, California, on October 10, 2010. With the help of our volunteers, sponsors and more than 600 people like you who participated in this event, we more than doubled our goal of $40,000 and raised more than $80,000 to fund canine cancer research. We couldn’t have done it without your support! To provide us with feedback about the event, please click here.
More than 50 teams participated in the first annual event. Here are the 2010 winners of the Top Dogs Contest:
- Top Team: Golden Retrievers to the Rescue raised nearly $7,000
- Most Team Members: VCA Animal Hospitals, of Los Gatos, Calif., had 56 registered participants
- Top Fundraiser (individual): Mary Rieger, of Society Dog’s Team Trevor, raised more than $1,800
- Top Fundraiser Honorable Mention (individual): Joanne Mcgrail, of Golden Retrievers to the Rescue, raised more than $1,600
- Most Spirit: Society Dog’s Team Trevor showed up “Clowning Around for a Cure”
- Most Spirit Honorable Mention: Angelfish Silicon Valley
Photos from the event may be found at http://www.hmlo.....zphoto.com (click on the Order Prints tab and go to Public Events to locate the Los Gatos K9 Cancer Walk.) These photos are available for purchase online from H.M. Lopez Photography, which will donate 50 percent of the proceeds to the Canine Cancer Campaign.
Funds raised at the K9 Cancer Walk will go toward:
- Providing new treatments for dogs suffering from cancer
- Developing prevention strategies
- Training new researchers who will help find preventions, treatments and, ultimately, a cure
Please let family and friends know they can contribute to the walk at http://www.K9Ca.....erWalk.org until October 25, but this will be the last chance to donate to the walk! We appreciate your support of Morris Animal Foundation’s Canine Cancer Campaign and look forward to seeing you next year!
