Cancer kills more pets than humans. Nearly 6 million new cat cancer diagnoses are made each year and cancer is one of the leading causes of death in dogs. Are you as upset by this as we are?
If so, then join Morris Animal Foundation and the Tripawds community in the Unite to Fight campaign to fund $250,000 for studies that will go toward prevention and cancer treatments in pet. Even “The Most Interesting Man in the World,” Jonathan Goldsmith, is in on this fight!
Here’s how we can all work with Morris to end this madness: Our funds are going toward more than 30 active Morris-funded cancer studies as well as the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. Morris also funds research ranging from basic science and genetics to cutting-edge cancer studies, conducts clinical trials of potential treatments and trains new scientists.
A Breakdown of current funding goes toward:
30+ Active Cancer Studies in 2014
10+ Types of Canine Cancer Studied
5 Types of Feline Cancer Studied
