OfflineI'm not sure if I messed this up. My blog link in my signature box used to work, but now it just nets me an empty page. I think. If you have time, could you tell me if I need to do something differently? Not sure what since it used to work. I may be an idiot, but I'm not a moron. Not usually. Thanks!

OfflineShari,
Unfortunately, I can't edit your sig line as a mod, just your post. But go back into your profile and redo the link itself. But don't copy the link from your sig line or from a forum post. Open another browser window and copy your blog address from the browser.
It looks to me like you copied the address from a forum post and since the forum posts shortens the entire address automatically, you don't actually have the legit address.
Let me know if that works!

OfflineYou are not a moron, but you did break the link somehow!
We are also unable to edit your signature, unless you provide your password in a PM. But we suggest you edit your signature again and delete the current link, then just paste in the full blog URL and it will automatically truncate and link to your site properly. Or, highlight whatever text you want to link to your site, then click the Inert Link tool and paste the URL there.
Hope this helps!

OfflineYou know, yesterday I went into my dashboard to do all this and to make it even more head-scratching, the blog link looks just fine. It's all there, unbroken. Later today I will get in there and just delete it and put it in again…but I will be typing in exactly what is written there now! Thanks for the info and we shall see what happens next.

OfflineShari,
Since we can't edit your sig line, I looked at the source code which gives me insight to what is going on.
Your link to your blog is linked to this URL mumbo jumbo (notice the extra stuff in your link? ….. – it will work if that is taken out)
http://shari.tr…..pawds.com/
this happens when you copy a link from a post because the posts automatically shorten links. Copying links within a post makes them turn into mumbo jumbo. You said it's looks normal when you edit it and it does to the naked eye but it still has the mumbo jumbo link that you aren't seeing.
So, you can delete the link altogether and start over OR you can manually correct it by writing in html's which is rather easy.
Here's all you have to do…go to your sig line in the profile. Click on the "HTML" editor little icon (last one on the right, next to the spell check icon) A window will pop up and then you can see it written in HTML's.
take out the garble in your link. This part: …..
so it now reads this:
http//:shari.tripawds.com/
Click update and the window will disappear and then click the button that says, "update profile" and you should be set!
