So y'all know ... Jasper and I fly north for the holidays to see family up in Seattle (my hometown). And of course it is going to be freezing cold rain the entire time we are there. I just keep telling myself it's great for my skin!!! Anyways ... of course Jasper needed a couple new sweaters so voila!
Not sure how she would feel if she knew this sweater had a picture of her nemesis the squirrel on it. This is a little lighter weight than her other sweaters so she can wear this if she gets chilly in the basement where we sleep. 🙂
And even though it is from the "Martha Stewart Collection" - she is not thrilled about the hoodie over her ears (her best feature).
I am not kidding - this dog has more warm clothes than me for heading to the arctic tundra but I'll snuggle up with her and be warm. Our time here will be limited so happy holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and happy whatever season you celebrate. Know that we are SO grateful for your love and support and friendship!
And not to be outdone ... Shelby tossed me a shiny penny on a walk the other day ... I miss my best girl SO much this time of year. 
This was Shelby's first photo with Santa ... it started with the antlers and a bandanna and grew to the best dresses that money could buy (and that Petco could sell)! Oh how I miss that sweet girl but so thankful I have the little sidekick to share the holidays with.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Awe Jasper is such a good little model. And those candy cane antlers on Shelby! Your girls are true Diva's to the utmost power plus 10!

I am ALWAYS sooooo entertained when I see lictures of Jasper and your "comments":-) 🙂 None of us here even need a CUTENESS ALERT because our computers (and tavlets) automatically give us one when they see Jasper Lily's name!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I giggled a little when I read the forum topic knowing you live in LA 
It's been a little chilly here the past few days and I'm thinking Elly should have a sweater since she is pretty bald on her tummy and the rest of her fur is thin. Too bad she hates wearing clothes!

Oh what a poppet! Look at Jasper, all dressed up for her hols. They're a very good fit, I have to say. No sagging or bagging for Miss Jasper, not that we'd expect any less from this glamorous LA lady. And Shelby, so precious, she glows with love.

This is when I feel really sorry my girl is so huge, the only way I could get some clothes for her would be by shoping at women's XL department stores 🙄😐

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

I thought of you last week when I picked up two sweaters for my Melody and Meesha. The weather is getting cold here and I wanted them to have a little extra protection. Mel's is pink while Meesha sports a red one. Now if I can only get them to wear them as eloquently as your fur-babies! It's like putting pantyhose on an octopus.
I put Meesha's on her and she did nothing but stand under my feet until I took it off. Good-God-Gerdy . . .
Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

I love these pictures. My big dogs love clothes. Problem is they don't make a lot that fit Rotties. Snickers had to wear a shirt for a month because of a cyst removal. I had to put shirts on Bosch & Jazz so they wouldn't feel left out. LOL

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Ollie tolerates it when I put a shirt or sweater on him. If dogs could roll their eyes, that's what he would be doing. Before we finally got his allergies under control, he had to wear a shirt all the time. Now it's only for pictures or when he needs his Thundershirt.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
We are BACK!!!! Happy Belated Holidays and New Year's friends! I am still catching up but it sounds like all is well here in Tripawds land.
Jasper had another successful trip to the PNW. We didn't get a ton of photos this time since the weather wasn't that amazing and it was cold and damp and we just napped. But each time I took a walk / run / stroll around Greenlake (the little lake about 3 miles round) I saw a Tripawd dog! I think one was the same one two days in a row but if not, what are the odds that I would see three tripawds on vacation?!? All looking fantastic and hopping away. I recognized the gait of the first one coming toward us and counted legs.
We saw a table full of pennies which I don't think were meant for us but between the tripawds and the pennies, I think those were signs from miss Shelby Lynne letting me know she was with me in spirit as she always is.
I must say ... the bond Jasper and I have is SO much stronger than I ever believed it to be and I am proud of the dog she has become. Leaving her today for the first time in over 2 weeks was sooooo hard and I am counting the hours till I get her back from daycare. I have to travel to Texas this month for work so she's going back to daycare to get used to it so she can stay there while I am away.
And again, Jasper was indeed the best dog on the plane, in the airport (especially LAX which is a cr@ptastic airport) and in general. She just adapts to her new surroundings and absolutely loves my mom. Cheers!

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
