And yes Elizabeth... Jasper and I are going to be sooooo out of our element. But we love to explore so anything and everything!Â

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Sorry that it has been an uber-crazy year for me and that I have been out of touch...but Fannie Mae (honorary Tripawd, sent to us by Lexie) and I will be there with bells on for at least Saturday, and maybe part of Sunday too!
I can't wait to see everyone! All of our East Coast Tripawd alum friends, plus those of you who are traveling so far -- so exciting! 🙂Â
My apologies if I missed it... Is there a separate post with the timeline and what is happening when and where on which day? If not, might be good to start a new thread (or make a "sticky" post) so it is easy to find.
(I just had a big BD so I will blame my poor eyesight and inability to read or write coherently at this hour on working too many hours in front of the PC along with my seasoned, mature eyes...lol)
Also, where are most out of towners staying?

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here. Â
DEB!!! I am so happy to meet you!!!! Michelle is the official poster of the times but I think the party starts at 3 pm both days. A lot of us travelers are at an Air BNB like place or hotels around the region. Will be soooooo much fun!

Jasper and I are a little more than 24 hours out to our first trip across the country (for Jasper .. not me, I've been to DC many, many, many times). But so excited to re-create our signature hashtag (#jasperandmadreadventures) on our posts and add a #tripawds party!Â
And I can't wait to pick up Tina and Clare .. who are having a blast, I am sure, around DC today but I heard it is raining. Let's hope that moves along before JL and I get there because JL is one stinky wet dog!Â

Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
