Julie (Buddy's mom) was hoping she could make it but won't be able to. She's going to send me a little "remembrance"' of Buddy that we'll display to celebrate his life along with our other Angels. If anyone wants me to display something special, just pm me and we'll work it out 🙂

Here's the proof that we have a maybe....which ewuals YES in our world!! Jet lag....not any issue! We'll let them snuggle with Myrtle and Frankie and they'll sleep like babies....on the grass....at the dog park! 🙂 🙂
And DONNA! We have hotel near the park and not too far from the airport waiting for you.....and lots of Chauffeurs to and fro!!

Osteo and amputation in Dec 2015. Second, inoperable, primary osteosarcoma found in June 2017.
The end of our adventures came Dec 10, 2017. 2 years to the day.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
So while at work today, one of the other charge nurse (who is on maternity leave right now) texted me to see if she could work Memorial Day for me because she will just be coming back to work & could use the extra money .... so I guess that takes care of the fact that I would need to be back home by Monday morning. And Glenn agreed that we can come home, unpack, re-pack & head out! I'm not sure yet if we will bring Murphy with us ... it might be a little much for him, since googlemaps says it's a 9+ hour drive.

Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Would anyone be interested in a professional photographer coming? My niece is a photographer and at this point doesn't have any weddings that weekend (she does have someone who's been on the fence, but hasn't committed). If enough of us pitched in a little bit to cover her room, she'd come down for the weekend.
Just a thought. I know everyone's already spending for travel/lodging/cars/food/etc. as it is, so I understand if you'd rather not add to it.
