That really is amazing, especially for a big doggy.😎 Quite good form. Has she always been athletic?

Griffin sends his regards and said, "Way to go, Ziva! Isn't fetch the best?" Steve - I remember when Griffin started playing fetch again and I was so amazed at how easily he adapted, which it seems Ziva has done, too. Simply awesome! ~ Stacy
Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com

Way to go Ziva! That was a beautifully executed flop and wiggle! It is so amazing to see Ziva adjust so marvelously, Steve! Since Griffin's supplements recommendations from Dr. Wolf were almost exactly the same as Ziva's, would you please share what adjustments you made? Griffin's oncologist recommended waiting a week after his last round of chemo (yesterday) before starting any of the supplements, and then to introduce them slowly one at a time to make sure he doesn't have any adverse reactions. It would be great to know what Ziva experienced and what tweaks you made in response. Thanks! ~ Stacy

Sure, I basically cut her dose in half. We give her the supplements only with dinner. It seemed when we were giving them twice a day she seemed a bit lethargic and her nose was warm and she was panting.
After cutting it down to once a day she seems her old self again. Now we have not even started Zivas chemo yet, we are still putting a plan together. So the Dr's decided to get her on the supplements first and build her immune system up before we start.??? I guess each Dr will have their own approach.
But as you can see in the video Ziva is doing great and has been hanging out with me as normal, well she hops now but normal lol.
Pupdate: Ziva is doing well, she has her good days and some bad. Usually the bad is if she overdoes it the day before. She still tires out quickly but it's been barely over three weeks since surgery. Still don't have a decisive path for chemo or if we are even going that route. Still doing the herbal holistic route which looks to be helping with her stamina and energy level.
So all in all no news is good news at this point. Take care all Steve & Ziva.
Yep, overdoing it is soooo easy eight now. And, as you've seen, it takes very little to "overdo" right now. She's getting there though, at her own pace and in her own way.
Thanks for the update on sweet Ziva😊

Wooohooo! Steve that is fantastic news. You have such a great attitude---you're right, three weeks is not a long time! But she will get stronger and build stamina as time goes on. You're a great pack leader for Ziva!

Hi Steve! You are so right about the overdoing it. As great as Griffin has recovered, at 7 weeks out from surgery he still tires quickly and I've been trying to be more attuned to limiting him before it gets to the "too much" point. I'm so glad that Ziva continues to move forward, but I was sad that you didn't post any new photos or videos. 🙂 Stacy

Sorry all, I've been slacking on updates for a bit. Being able to reopen my shop has kept me runnin.
Anyway Ziva is doing great and hopping along like nothing ever happened. Her incision site is almost not noticeable. She is now three and a half weeks post op. I'll do my best for some updated pics and maybe even a video later today as Sunday is our day off.
Time for some Ziva play and NO HONEY DOOS !!!
