Oh Steve, I'm so very happy to hear that Ziva continues to live her best life! Reading you post made me remember that Griffin's 5 month ampuversary was yesterday - so funny how we just got on with living life and forgot about that milestone. Please give Ziva a huge smooch from Griffin and me!

Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com

Awesome news from Ziva superstar! She seems like she is rocking this three legs thing 😉 I'm so happy for you guys that things are going smoothly. Arktik will be at the 5 months ampuversary milestone next week too 🙂
Well here we come up on Zivas 6 month ampuversary. She is doing very well and as of her last check up everything is clear and no further issues with her cancer.
She's hoping around, chasing other the other dogs, and being the best dog she can be. I need to stop spoiling her so much as her weight is up about 5-7lbs from where the Vet would like it to be but its so hard not to spoil her.
Anyway I hope everyone else is doing well and your fur babies are being the best dogs they can be as well. Until next check in take care everyone. It's a crazy world and crazy time and I'm glad I have my bestest buddy Ziva by my side. With her here I can survive anything!!

It is so hard not to spoil a tripawd, especially when it comes to treats. They are so darn cute! Try green beans or sloces of apples as treats.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That's funny you said apples. We have an apple tree out back and all four dogs go sit there every evening until my wife and I go pick a couple apples and share them with the doggies lol.
Steve and Ziva congratulations! Six months is a pawesome milestone, we are so hoppy you've made it this far. Cheers to many, many more celebrations and a long, hopppy life ahead. Wonderful news!
P.S. Totally know what you mean about finding it hard not to spoil her, these pupperz are amazing! So spoil her all you want with those apples and other fruits, green beans, whatever she likes that's low calorie and dense. Keep them chopped up and ready in a refrigerated treat jar instead of reaching for high calorie treats. The slimmer she is, the hoppier her body will be!
