Admin & Jerry - Thanks for all the great sources, I will definitely check out the DGP.
I had to laugh about the SD soapbox. That is EXACTLY how I feel about them. The only reason it is recommended is because it puts cash in the vet's pocket AND they buy in to the propoganda. I did try the z/d allergy formula and it was not a pretty outcome.
This afternoon I plan to check out the DGP and a couple others that have been suggested by the pitbull group. I'll let everyone know what I find.
The allergies really are a pain by themselves, but along with the cancer, it is really trying 🙂

Congrats Trouble on a good check-up! We also just wanted to say how much we loved
your video. When we first discussed Romeo's surgery with our six year old daughter,
we watched some of the videos. Greta just loved Trouble, and it really helped her
to see Romeo would be ok.
Take care, Eve and Romeo

) abandon their previously unblemished tone of neutrality. Little Switzerland is how I thought of them until now.
Whoops! Guess we're a little snippy about that topic these days because Mom's been doing a lot of reading about diet and home cooking for Wyatt Ray. We really do try to maintain a level of neutrality about everything else here, promise. If SD works for you, then by all means, please don't take it as we are bashing your choice OK? I'm sorry if it appeared that way.

Wouldn't you like to know!?!?
Here's a hint. We've gotta keep all our Tripawds friends on their toes after all.
Ha, I definitely was not offended about SD! You just normally maintain such a tone of neutrality even when I can tell it must be killing you, so I thought this was funny.
Don't worry. I once implied that Max the Mutt was fat without meaning to and they forgave me! It is always a delicate matter to inquire about a dog's weight.

Thank you for being so nice about that!!! Yes, I was concerned that I blew it with my trigger fingers....I really do want this to be a place where everyone feels like they can talk about their ideas, treatments, food choices, etc., It's the best way to keep ideas flowing for the betterment of our Tripawds' health. I appreciate your catching that slip up. Doh!

Awe, I'm so glad we could help. That really warms my heart!
