I'm a little behind, but I'm super HAPPY for HAPPY HANNAH. You are both super strong and courageous!

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Thanks Jerry and I'm glad I'm here too!

Fourminipups! Thanks for celebrating with us! I have to laugh if I get acknowledged for being strong/courageous because that just means I was able to fake it for a few brief moments on the site. Guess "fake it 'til you make it" works! Seriously, my strength comes from this site and I thank each of you!

Beautiful photo--quite strikingly cute!!

Take care fourminipups! Sally and Happy Hannah

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thanks Tails a waggin' gang. Your photos inspire me to try and figure out how to get Happy Hannah's mug in the gallery. Way over my head so I'll try and get some help on this end. Anyone know how to put a polaroid snapshot into one of these tablets-----anyone know what a polaroid picture is other than me????!!

Thanks for celebrating with us and you take care of YOU and the gang, Sally and Happy Hannah

Sally have you seen this link, "Adding Images to Your Post"? If you still can do it, email me a pic or two and I'll be happy to share them here.

And Yay! To black dog companion Cora. What a special soul Ms. Cora is and I can't wait to follow all of her adventures. That dog is clearly the "teacher" and all who follow her will definitely be the eager "student". And she sure picked the right person to be her companion I. This life. The very best to both of you and I celebrate Cora's very existence!! Sally and Happy Hannah

Sally and Hannah,
Thank you do much for the kind words you wrote regarding Bruno and his blog. Being able to turn to this community has given me so much strength, fortitude, and
Solace. Losing Bruno has been the hardest, saddest thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I don't ever want to say that I'm not a people person , but there is a connection (one based on unconditional love alone) I have with my dogs but especially shared with Bruno. My heart still aches for him. I hope sharing our story can help others like you and Hannah realized that the uncertainty is Worth it for just one more day that you are Able to be on this journey with your beloved. I am
So glad to hear that Hannah is flourishing. Stay the course and keep the faith!

Thought Easter would be a good time to AGAIN express gratitude for everyone on this site. All our pups/cats on here have either already mastered the bunny hop or soon will!

As everyone predicted and promised HAPPY HANNAH IS DOING A WONDERFUL JOB AT BEING HER HAPPY, JOYFUL, PLAYFUL, GOOFY, LOVING SELF!

Everyday I say, "So this is what 'they' are talking about". Her recovery was seeming like an eternity----:-) but oh my how it has taken hold and continues to even get better and better! I don't want t to jinx things but I just thought a little good news wouldn't hurt to share
The big little hippo actually does a little gallop every now and then and just squirms with delight and pride every time she does. I just never thought I'd see her this happy again and my heart just feels like it's going to explode with the joy of seeing her so happy!

Doing second chemo next week

Tahoe I just got your PM but I think somehow I responded on Jerry's PM but I think Jerry can forward it. Thank you.

Anyway, off my complete and utter computer dysfunction continued embarrassment

These moments seeing Happy Hannah even be happier than before her amputation--ther- I said it----have been glorious and I thank each of you for helping me hold onto the
Rromise of better tomlrrlws because they are here today!!

Always, always, sending the. Best of joy and peace to each of you, Sally and Happy Hannay

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. Sally and Happy Hannah,
During this season of contemplation and gratitude, I think we can all be grateful for something: the Tripawds Community and it's members, modern medicine and advances, holistic and alternative medicine, hope and more time we've Been given with our beloved bestfriends and companions. I am thrilled to hear that Hannah is flourishing as A Tripawd. Good job staying the course during what seemed Like a bumpy post Op recovery period. There is no guarantee that results will ever be in our favor, But we must understand that we are our tripawd's biggest source of hope and strength. I'm proud of you for staying strong when it was almost too much to handle. You are both warriors. Stay strong!

Yeah Katy-----better than before the amputation----at least the couple of weeks before and I didn't realize how it was affecting her until I've had this glorious times for comparison!! Yep, better than before! Thanks Katy and Jackson and ALWYS sending you the best

Bruiser Bruno so glad you're here.. I tried to respond to your tribute to Bruno the other day but I never saw the "send reply" button after I typed the message. It could have been because for a couple of hours I inadvertently logged off and was too daft to figure out how to get back on. But, with help from spirit Jerry, here we are!!
I'll try again when I get home from work. It was just so eloquently spoken from the heart--as is everything you write. You sincerely have a gift and will always be a gift to Bruiser Bruno. Thank you for your support

Jerry-----you ALWAYS make everyone here feel so good and so special. There hasn't been one single post you've made that I've seen anywhere here I didn't feel better after reading it. In honor of Easter, you get the GOOD EGG Award because you are!!!

Must go tend to Happy Hannah now, she's trying to gallop up the 30-40 ft. ramp a little t fast!! Oh darn, the side effects of a dog thoroughly enjoying life!

Always appreciative, Sally and Happy Hannah
