If I am correct , although it is a few years old, it is about the newest approach for lung mets??? My girls has numerous now from her OS and might give it a try. Has anyone had success? And if so, what have you found to be the best method for nebulizing to REALLY get to the lungs?

Thank you…...

Hi Eileen

I have been researching too and found the article Admin linked us to, not sure if there are any more trails still going. There was a clinical trial @ UC Davis using inhalation Gemcitibine but if there is already metastasis to the lungs then the trial includes IV Isolflurane. I do not want to put our girl through any more IV chemo (she has already done 6 rounds of Carboplatin) I'm really looking for ways to slow the tumors and still maintain a high quality of life for her.

Please post if you find any more info.

So sorry to hear about your girl, sending tons of hugs.
