First and foremost, Ursa has been a total and complete rockstar in her first 10 days as an amputee. Her appetite is back. Her energy and spirit is back. We have our Ursa back! It's all been so affirming that we absolutely made the right choice and that she is now back to a pain free life. We get the staples out tomorrow! WOO HOO!

Now that surgery recovery is behind us, we're moving forward with how to manage the cancer. The pathology came back, and it is NOT osteosarcoma. While I'm breathing a sigh of relief, we still don't know what this really means. It appears to be a joint cancer and we're going to visit a vet oncologist to do further tests and advise her treatment plan going forward - but I would love to hear your experiences, thoughts, questions I should ask - as related to canine joint cancer.

I appreciate all your support. Details on how she has been doing with photos are here: http://blogalac.....esilience/ I would love for you to hop on over and share thoughts on the blog as my readership is learning so much from Ursa's journey!

Many thanks!

I'm happy to hear she is doing so well!  That's terrific!  And the pic is sensational!

I don't have any advice.  That's a bit of a head scratcher.  Maybe the onc will enlighten you.  But the leg is gone and so is the pain and that's the most important thing!

(P.S. - I moved your post out of 'Technical Support'- that is for website problems)
