WHHHOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!
Not really sure if there is anything that can better state our feeling on this ocassion. This is great news and a true song to our ears. We hope that the QUEEN will continue to push those life expectency numbers for the "November Five". Every time you and Trouble can celebrate, it lifts our hearts and should provide inspawration to the entire community. As Pat (Brody's mom) said, "Hang in there…whether it be days, weeks, months or years." Queen Nova is showing the way, even if she freightens the pudding out of mom.
Please take note of our earlier posting regarding what the chemotherapy may do to the immune system. Hopefully, we will get Pam (Tazzie) to comment on this. I always appreciate her viewpoint.
Seven days past the 16 month post-amp. Perhaps this is just Nova's way of reminding you that you needed a 16 month PAWRTY? Regardless, we will be celebrating.
Love to all the family,
Spirit Cherry and Dad
You are right, Bob. I better go get Nova some beef trachea. I have buffalo on her dinner menu tonight to help wash down the antibiotics.
Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
Sue and Nova. There is no one (except maybe you) as happy as I to hear it is a pesky infection. Sue, I think you and I are both suffering from the longer we go cancer free, the more paranoid we become expecting something to go wrong. We must learn to relax, like the dogs.
Woohoo, go Queen Nova! Show us all how to do it!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
That silly Nova, what a funny way to tell you she has a cold.
We are all, very, very relieved. Whew! Time to pawty!
Thanks for sharing this pawesome news, you made our day.

Sue and Nova,
I just read through all the postings and at first I was alarmed... but was so happy to hear about the results! Yay for upper resp infections and a super clean lung x-ray!!! There is definitely a great reason to celebrate!!! Hope you get a bit of time to pamper yourself now... and give that big, beautiful girl of yours a big kiss and hug from all of us!!!!
Angel Jake's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!

Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!
Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!
I was at work yesterday when my wife read the news about Nova, so I found out via her text message. I was incredibly relieved then, and after reading your post just now, I’m even more amazed. The fact that this was a mere respiratory infection is already great news, but when combined with the fact that there’s still no sign of cancer after SIXTEEN MONTHS it's absolutely stunning! I hope you stuffed that dog chock full of buffalo last night, because she deserves it! Speaking as proud parents of one of the November Five, Diane and I couldn’t be happier for you. I don’t know how Nova managed to beat cancer so thoroughly so far, but there’s no doubt she’s an inspiration to everyone.
Who would have thought that a booger could be a sign of good news?
