Hope everyone is doing well today! And I hope that your tripawds are doing GREAT!
My little tripawd got switched from carboplatin chemotherapy to Palladia on Tuesday. Does anyone here have any experience with the Palladia? The carboplatin at best slowed down the mets but the mets still got a little bigger. They're hoping for some response or at least stable disease. Any and all information is welcome and appreciated.
thank you!

Dang mets! Grrrr. I'm sorry but that Palladia is strong stuff, hopefully it'll knock those buggers out. Longtime member Karen made this video when another member named her two "mints" (mets) "Boris" and "Natasha". Picture the Palladia doing this:
Well yes, others have done Palladia so you're not alone. Here are some search results with "experience" and "palladia." If you just search for palladia you get a ton, so hopefully this will give you some info to go on.

As always, great information, thank you SO MUCH. I cracked up at Boris and Natasha. Is it telling that I actually used to watch that cartoon when I was a kid? LOL.
We gave Patches her second dose of Palladia yesterday. I don't want to jinx anything but it seems she's tolerating it very well. And by tolerating I mean eating like a great dane and running around in the yard. I am praying for some results, visualizing, sending energy in to beat the sh*t out of those mets. Just need to keep doing what we're doing. Positive attitude, private and brief melt downs and lots of pork chops and steak.
More to come 🙂

Heh heh glad you like the video, it's one of our all-time faves.
Oh man if she is tolerating the Palladia that is WONDERFUL!
Here's to chowing down like a Great Dane and running amok! Keep us posted.

LOL, thanks, I will definitely keep you posted. Five minutes ago she ate all my son's calamari. There was no denying her. Her brother stole TWO jalepeno poppers. Let the record show that these two aren't starving. I just hope no one gets any GI upset. Could be along night.
She's such a little canaan lol.

I'm glad Patches is doing well with the palladia, and that you liked the video
If you want to read about a quad dog who was on palladia for a long time for mast cell cancer check out Rosie's Road. Rosie is a lab who took palladia for a very long time and did very well. They haven't updated the blog in over a year, when Rosie turned 14 and was still cancer free, but there is a lot of good info still there.
I don't have any experience with palladia. I have lots of experience with mast cell cancer in dogs, for which it was first approved, but I never used it for my pugs.
I hope Patches continues to do well.

LOL, I loved the video. It made me laugh and it brought back memories 🙂 And thank you for the great information, as always. I will definitely check out Rosie's blog. I'm sorry you have experience with cancer at all and I humbly thank you for helping and sharing. Have a great night!
