Today is 2 weeks since Reigns surgery!
we had our check up today and they said she's looking good. Appointment Monday to remove the drain and maybe some stitches. We will get her results from the urine screen to see how her kidneys are doing tomorrow and go over everything.
When I'm watching her Reign doesn't end up wearing the cone. If I have to take my eyes off of her the cone goes on. We are too close to being healed to mess up now!
We are having a lazy day since Reign was really worn out after her trip.
I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will post when I hear something from the doctor
What an awesome pawesome day! Look at that, another one behind you, another one in front. This is a fantastic recovery from a very tough time, we are so happy for you. Have a relaxing weekend.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I've been updating the blog but haven't on here oops! Monday her drain was removed and today ( 3 weeks post op) she had ALL OF HER STITCHES REMOVED!! The surgeon is very happy with how everything looks and said they ( the hospital ) were going to miss their mascot. Reign gave good bye kisses to the staff and we were out of there. I adore everyone that helped treat her but all of us are sick of that long car ride. Reign's next ride is to the pet store to pick out a new collar and maybe some treats.
She cruises around the house and is getting faster outside. She is back on her normal diet which made me happy since her stomach calmed down after. Reign even had a short visit with her boyfriend Pierre, a toy poodle that lives down the street. She wears out pretty fast but we are figuring out when she's done enough.
Reign does have 1 spot that she wants to lick still. The doctor said in 3-7 days she should be past it. So we aren't back in bed yet but we keep getting closer!

I don't know if the link will work but that's Reese trying to get as close as she can to Reign lol
How sweet is this??? Got a great big "Awwwwwww..." going on over here! Love the picture! Reese is a very pretty doggy!
Just thrilled that Reign is done with her stitches and vet visits!! YAAAAAAAAAY FOR REIGN!!!
I can't wait to see more pictures...and some o f she and Pierre too!
Yes, moving around as a tripawd is very tiring, especially considering everything Reign has been through! My goodness she has been through a lpt for such a little pup! And so jave her devoted humans!
So glad things are looking up. You really can stay in the moment now and enjoy the bliss of seeing Reign loving life!
Hugs to all!

Oh what a sweetie! Isn't it the best when life returns to normal? Glad to hear things are so good.
There's lots of veterinary anti-itch creams/sprays you can put on that one last spot that's bugging her. Stitches even when they're finally out are so itchy!
