Dear all

It's Sunday so can't speak to vet till tomorrow, but a small lump has appeared near Panchitos incision site. He's on day 6 of recovery. I'm terrified the tumour has come back? Is there anything else it could be?

Clare,

Don't get ahead of yourself. It could be many things. A fluid pocket among them.  It is very difficult not to worry about our Furbabies but please try to be positive.

Are you sure it's not a seroma ? Click on this link (seroma ) for info. If so it's something that usually isn't serious, just fluid build up, and quite common, but do mention it to your vet.

Thanks - hoping it may be fluid but can't tell. It's a lump about the size of of a peanut, but circular. It's between two sutures. Can't speak to vet till tmw so crossing fingers. It would be so cruel to have put him through this for the tumour to come back again so soon. Thanks for support and hand holding ! Xx

Geez, is this journey crazy or what? The slightest little thing...that we normally wouldn't even consider giving iit a second thought...and we go nuts with worry!!!!!

Nah...I doubt this is anything to worry about at all!!! A little "bump" between the sutures pops up quite often and it's completely related to the stitching, or perhaps even some bit of scarring forming or a little fluid bump. Heck, it could even be something as simple as a little bug bite!

I KNOW kt's hard to tell you not to worry....but this most likely is something definitely not to worry about!! Really!!

Now give that adorable "chap" a big hug from all,of us...and give yourself one too! You both are doing great!! Glad you got to see some of that cute Dandy's sparkle come back yesterday. And you'll see it more and more! Still cannot believe the vet just has him on metacam!!! The biggest majority here are on Tramadol at least! But each dog is different, that's for sure!

Let us kmow how he's doing today....and you too!!

Deep breaths! B R E A T H E.........B R E A T H E! Know that all is well with Panchitobanitoclap

((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thankyou so much! talk about the special USA/UK relationship -Well we are really feeling it now coming across the big pond to us here in England!Thank you all so much. The little man Is doing so much better today. It's day six and he has been hopping around my parents garden and wagging his tail like crazy. The vet gave us tramadol and he had it the first night but hasn't needed it since. He's made of tough stuff! We call him The Colonel ! He had terrible glaucoma only a month ago and lost an eye so he really has been such a hero! He is beginning to come back cheerful and wagging and full of good spirits about all of it! Such a great little man.
Thankyou again and we will let you know how we are doing. Having a BIG glass of wine now! Xxx

Aww. Keep up the great recovery Panchito! You're one tuff doggie, you're gonna be fine (and so will your people, they have a great attitude too!).

I agree with Sally,it's probably nothing. Let us know what the vet says OK?
