Do you love a lap cat? Do you have a mouse problem?! Say goodbye mice and hello cuddles with Kermit! He’s a 1.5yr old, sleek black trikitty and here’s what Happy Tails Rescue in Maple Grove, MN has to say about him:
Happy Tails has cats in fosterHi! My name is Kermit. I am a 2 year old all black male kitty. I came to Happy Tails Rescue as a tripod. I am currently learning how to get around on 3 legs instead of 4, and I am doing great! I am gaining strength in my back leg, and slowly but surely gaining confidence each day. I am a wonderful kitty.
I come off as very shy when I first meet people. But once I feel comfortable with you, I am the best lap cat, who will purr all day long. My future adopter will need to be patient with my initial shyness. But I promise you, that patience will pay off! And I will love you forever.
I am a candidate for an indoor shop cat to help with mice!
homes, at our adoption center, and at the PetSmart and Petco locations listed below. If there is a specific cat of ours you see online that you like please fill out an adoption application at tailsrescue.org to find out where that cat is located.

Psst! - If Kermit is taken or isn’t quite for you, perhaps consider his other Land of 10,000 lakes trikitty neighbors: Bidzii, Big Grey, Carson, Felon, Mittsu, Daniel, Penguin & Raven & Owl, and Felix!
There are also some amazing tripups in the area too: Forrest, Jack, Lita, Nutella, Bronx, Lincoln, Jeff, Buddy, Arthur, Gia, Owen, Lyra, Charley Boy, and Goldie!
* If you plan to adopt across state lines, contact the rescue ahead of your visit to learn their policies.

And if these tripawds aren’t near enough or the right fit for you, perhaps share them with someone who is?

Note: With any tripawd, it’s good to ask about the reason for the amputation if it’s unlisted, just to get a clearer picture of the pet’s health and history. “Unknown” isn’t a dealbreaker, but more info can help you as a pet parent make a more informed decision!
