Dear Admin: I have cleared the browser page, updated the profile page etc. I believe I have followed all these steps correctly.
What exactly does "reload the page" mean? That's the only thing I'm not sure of. Maybe this is what I'm missing.
I see Romeo's new avatar (Yes he's sideaways, running through the leaves) on the dashboard, but when I go to my forum profile old avatar still shows up. Hmmmmmm. I can 't think what I'm doing wrong.
I'm feeling despondent! Really wanted to fix things up for the bday post.
Thanks for the good wishes and thanks again for your patience. Sorry to be so slow at this. Eve
Trying to figure this out w/ posts from Macsmom. So clearing the cache is not the same as deleting browser history? How do I clear cache then? I think I followed the link/directions clearly. And I see she mentioned checking a box to add new data? Where is that?

Yes. See the link I provided above for instructions on how to clear your browser cache. To reload the page, merely means to refresh the web page using the reload/refresh button or closing the windo and opening the pagge again.
I cannot view your avatar upload page without logging in as you with your password. But from what you are explaining, I am almost certain that you are merely seeing the cached version of the image here in the forums. Can you explain what the "new" photo looks like. See the description of what I am seeing in my last post.
You are by no means hopeless. If I knew what browser and operating system you're using I could provide better instructions.
