This topic is only of importance to Tripawds bloggers who are interested in – or have already implemented – Search Engine Optimization tactics for their site using the All In One SEO plugin (available to Tripawds Support II & III blogs).
All bloggers will now notice the Yoast SEO plugin is now available in the site dashboard. Use of this plugin is entirely optional, it's primary purpose is to help the site rank higher in search engine results. It adds various fields to the post editor for configuring keyphrases and structured content, with recommendations for improvement. If you have no interest in improving SEO, these prompts can be ignored.
IF you have previously used the All In One SEO plugin, please take the following Steps:
- Deactivate All In One SEO from your Dashboard -> Plugins
- Import AIOSEO post & page options from Yoast -> Tools -> Import & Export (Import from other Plugins*)
- Configure General and Media Type defaults from Yoast -> Search Appearance (optional)
- Once import of post/page Titles and Descriptions has been confirmed, use Clenup to remove AIOSEO database entries.
- Reply to this topic or send a PM for assistance.
IF you have never used the AIOSEO plugin, this can be ignored, and the import option may not be available.
NOTE: The Yoast Configuration Wizard is currently nonfunctional due to compatibility issues. (Dashboard notifications can be muted.)
The Tripawds Blogs network was created to help share pet amputation experiences, treatment plans, results, success stories and photos to help others searching for help when faced with the same situation for their cats and dogs. The best way to do this is to ensure this content appears in search engine results. Yoast is now available to all Tripawds bloggers to help make this happen.
Any questions?

Questions? Yes? I just made a blog post and none of my pictures are showing up? I see them on my notification email but they are not on the blog. I just disabled the functions but I do not have a plug in option to disable the whole thing. Help?

This wouls be unrelated to any SEO options, and it appears you got it indeed. All photos are displaying on your blog just fine.

All In One SEO was never ocative on Sassy's blog, so there was nothing to import. We set up some basic metadata for the site. Should you ever wish to optimize specific posts, you can follow the suggestions Yoast provides within the editor. Otherwise they can be ignored. Doing so will only affect search appearance of your site, not the Tripawds News blog .

Um... yeah...🙄🙄 I had a moment. Copy and paste doesn't work nearly as well as add media...

I scheduled a post and previewed it last night it all appeared fine. It posted this a.m. and not all the images are showing up on the post.
I'm not sure what to do. I already disabled the SEO. I do not see Configure General and media Type defaults.
The picture of the trikitty book is now missing on the sidebar too. Everything was great last night. I will tinker around and see if I can't figure something out in the meantime. I know your plate is full I am SORRY to add to it.
Could you please guide me on what to do if the images are still missing when you see this.
Thank you
My images on Huck's blog are gone too. They were there a few days ago. I am not going to try to edit or do anything right now, I will just wait until I get some words of wisdom. So sorry you are going through all of this, wish I could do something to help.

Admin, it appears a lot of photos are mia not just the current post. I see it on other blogs as well. Rene’s current post has missing images.
It takes furever to preview and or to make any changes made on the blog. I left it as is I surrendered this is over my head.🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for all you do we ALL APPRECIATE your hard work!
I am with Holly! I am also missing a few pics and I can also not meta tag or authenticate w/ Google. -Is that generally not possible because it's a blog within Tripawds and I don't really have a domain or am I on the wrong track here?
Thanks!! 🙂

NOTE TO ALL: We are aware of this issue...in our continuing efforts to address performance issues we have been experimenting with serving up images via CDN, and implementing Lazy Load to only display photos after they appear within browser view. The former clearly isn't working on all sites, so we have disabled network-wide CDN delivery of images. This seems to have addressed the "missing photos" issue. Lazy Load is still implemented to avoid excess overhead upon page load. Photos should now display, after their container becomes visible within browser view. If this delay proves to be too loang, we may also disable this feature.
It takes furever to preview and or to make any changes made on the blog.
Over the past couple days, degraded performance of all sites has been due to various modifications and testing going on behind the scenes. This experience may continue to periodically get worse, before it gets better, for good. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.
I do not see Configure General and media Type defaults.
Configure all default SEO keyphrases from Dashboard -> SEO -> Search Appearnce This link is specifically for the Yoast admin page in Purrkins blog.

Search Console authentication for subsites is not required. This is only necessary for viewing Google Search Console data within the blog dashboard, and would require configuration of a profile exactly matching the domain within the users Search Console account. Caching an asset optimization implemented via the Hummingbird plugin may also affect loading of authentication scripts.
