Odd thing happens... I can't navigate away from the page while I'm mid-post in any way except for a screen lock that just happened! It's a coolpad, android phone, using a chrome browser window.
I'm typing along and get a text, check it and come back and the page reloads to the thread as it was before I started to post.
Or, open Instagram for a page link, same thing.
Or, open an existing chrome tab and back to this tab, same thing.
It can be an already open window (open apps button) or an already open tab in Chrome, or a notification.
It's really only an issue if I need to paste a link, but I can just make a separate post for the link...its only good for one at a time, though, one copy one paste.

We're sorry, we're unable to replicate this issue. We know other members using Android devices are able to navigate away from the forums, and return to paste copied links, etc. So we hope others may be able to offer better feedback. We might suggest that you try a different web browser app to see if the issue persists.
